Lightning Quiz (Vietnamese: Nhanh như chớp, abbreviated NNC) is a Vietnamese television mystery music game show series on HTV7.
Gameplay[edit]
Competition format[edit]
Each episode will have 6 contestants, divided into 2 teams A and B (only the first 2 episodes are team 1 and team 2), each team has 3 contestants. Teams will compete against each other in a knockout format. The winning team of one set will compete in the next round.
Below is the format of the show from season 1, season 2. A broadcast season consists of 31 episodes, of which there are 2 broadcasts, 15 episodes each, and a Super Cup match for the 2 championship teams of both. batch.
- Qualifiers: Consists of 8 episodes. 16 teams will compete in a knockout format. The 8 winners will advance to the quarterfinals.
- Quarterfinals: Includes 4 episodes. The 8 winners of the qualifying round will compete in this round. The 4 winners will advance to the semi-finals.
- Semi-final round: Consists of 2 episodes. The 4 winners of the quarter-finals will compete in this round. The 2 winners will advance to the finals.
- Finals: 1 episode. The 2 winners of the semi-finals will compete in this round. The winner of this match will be the champion.
- Super Cup (Gala): 1 episode. This is a friendly match between the two champions of both phases.
Game Rules[edit]
Through the broadcast seasons, the program has made certain improvements in the rules of the game as well as the prize structure. Here are the show's rules of the game since season 3.
Qualifying Round[edit]
This round can have 3 or 4 rounds.
In each round, each team selects 1 representative to participate in this round. One person will join the play first and the other will enter the soundproof room so that the program's questions cannot be heard. Candidates will sit on the hot seat of the "lightning machine" and have 2 minutes to quickly answer a set of multiple-question questions (including standard questions and trick quizzes). The time is only counted from when the MC starts reading the question to the time the player closes the answer and does not count when the contestants and the MC talk. Each correct answer will go up a step of the slope, wrong answer will go to the bottom of the slope (step 0), the point is calculated by the circuit of the number of consecutive and maximum correct answers. Contestants are not allowed to skip any questions and are required to answer all questions even if they are wrong and absolutely do not listen to their teammates. If you answer according to the suggestion of a teammate, the answer will not be accepted and will be counted as a wrong answer.
Example: a candidate who can answer up to the mark of 5 and then answer incorrectly and cannot answer more than 5 consecutive questions after that, the score will be 5 points.
If the candidate answers correctly to the mark of 10 (correctly 10 consecutive questions), that candidate will receive 20,000,000 VND for himself. Contestants can use this money for personal purposes or encourage use for other charitable activities.
Note:
- In the qualifying rounds: There is only one prize of 20,000,000 VND for the first person to correctly answer 10 questions in a row, ie if that person has 2 correct answers 10 consecutive questions or there are more people The 2nd person who correctly answers 10 questions in a row does not receive an additional 20,000,000 VND, but is only counted as 10 points.
- In the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals, the bonus rules will change: The first person to correctly answer 10 consecutive questions will receive VND 20,000,000, the second person to correctly answer 10 consecutive questions will receive 1 reward is 10,000,000 VND for individuals (if you have received 20 million before, you will not receive this additional 10 million and only count as 10 points). the third person onwards even if he gets 10 consecutive answers, it will only be counted as 10 points.
- This prize does not apply to the Super Cup match.
2 contestants compete against each other with a common set of questions with the same order for both. The team with the highest number of consecutive correct answers will win that round. If two teams have the same number of correct answers in a row, each team wins 1 point.
If after 4 rounds the winner has not been found, there will be a side question and each team chooses a representative member to stand in front of a pillar. After hearing the question, that member gains the right to answer by placing his hand on the column. If the answer is correct, the team with that member wins, if wrong, the member of the other team will answer, if it is correct, the team will win. If the whole team can't answer, then continue like this until a team wins.
After the rounds, the team with the most points will win and advance to the special round, at the same time, and will advance to the next round. The losing team will receive a reward of 12,000,000 VND (only for the final match is 30,000,000 VND).
Special Round[edit]
The winning team will stand in front of a pillar. Within 1 minute, the team must list 20 answers according to the topic given by the program. To be confirmed, each player needs to place their hand on the pole and speak. Members must take turns speaking and not saying the same thing. After 1 minute, if the team lists enough or more than 20 answers, they win and receive the highest prize (for details, see the prize structure below).
