Lijeesh is an Indian actor who works in Tamil-language films. After making his debut with Pa. Ranjith's Madras (2014), he became a regular in Ranjith's subsequent directorial and production ventures.

Career

Lijeesh studied in Loyola College and worked as an assistant to Kavitha Bharathi, a director for Tamil-language serials. Lijeesh went for an audition for Sachein (2005), but was unsuccessful before becoming a video jockey for Sun Music.[1] After playing minor supporting roles in Ranjith's Madras (2014) and Kabali (2016), he went on to play notable roles in Ghajinikanth as a cop who is in love with Sayyeshaa.[2][3][4] He garnered acclaim for his role in Pariyerum Perumal (2018). In the film, he plays Anandhi's cousin who is angered by her relationship with Karthir and decides to teach Karthir a lesson by establishing his caste as superior.[3] He starred in the murder mystery V1 (2019) as a man who kills himself after his partner is killed.[5]
