Early Life
Likowsky Desir was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York by Haitian immigrant parents.[1] He is a medical student and medical researcher in the fields of surgery, neurosurgery, biomedical engineering, and aerospace engineering.[2] He resides in Long Island, New York. He has published research in a plethora of peer-reviewed Medical Journals[3][4].
Career
After graduating from Valley Stream Central High School in 2014, Likowsky Desir attended the City College of NY where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science. [5]Following this, he completed his MS degree in cognitive neuroscience at the CUNY Graduate Center and his MPH degree at the University of Bridgeport. He began work as a Feinstein scholar at Northwell Health beginning in November 2020. He was one of the founding members of the Society of Haitian Neuroscientists (link for society: https://www.haitineuro.org/ ). He is currently a medical student in his final two years of medical school.
