Lily Tang Williams

Lily Tang Williams (born 1964) is a Chinese-American politician, entrepreneur and educator originally from Chengdu, Sichuan province. Tang Williams is the 2024 Republican nominee for the United States House of Representatives from New Hampshire's 2nd congressional district. She was an unsuccessful candidate for the 2022 Republican nomination in New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District and was the 2016 Libertarian Party nominee for the United States Senate from Colorado.

Tang Williams attended Fudan University Law School in Shanghai and joined the faculty there after graduation.

In 1988, Tang Williams came to the United States to attend the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work, where she graduated with a Master's Degree in Administration and Planning. She applied for and was granted asylum in the United States.[1]

Tang Williams and her husband, John Williams, have one son and one daughter.[2]
