Lincs Aquatics was founded in 1989 by Barry Stubbs, originally called Woodthorpe Aquatics and later renamed to Lincs Aquatics. Barry is related to the owners who own the British Garden Centres.

The company is located in a small village of Woodthorpe, Lincolnshire which is located between Louth and Alford.

In 2000 Lincs Aquatics moved to there current location, which is located on Strubby Airfield, this move has made them one of the largest indoor aquatics shops on the East Coast.

  • The company was founded by Barry Stubbs in 1989.
  • Moved in to the Hanger on Strubby Airfield in 2000
  • Opened a store in Bawtry in 2011
  • Opened a store in Hull in 2017
  • Went online in 2019
  • Closed down Hull Store in 2020
