History
LinearB was founded by CEO Ori Keren and COO Dan Lines in April 2018.
Seed Funding
In January of 2019 it was announced that LinearB had raised an initial seed funding round of $1.6 million led by Ariel Maislos[2].
Series A Funding
In March of 2021 it was reported that LinearB had raised an additional $16 million in funding during a Series A round led by Battery Ventures to bring total funding for the startup to $21 million[3]. Other investors in the Series A fundraising round include TechAviv Founder Partners and 83North[4].
Product
LinearB integrates their product with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket providing automated Slack based alerts to receive information such as pull requests, cycle time, and work at risk of being delayed[5]. In February 2021 they announced a partnership to continuously improve software project delivery with project management software company Clubhouse Software.
Dev Interrupted
LinearB has also created and sponsored a community for software developers and tech leaders called Dev Interrupted[6]. The community officially launched in May 2021[7]. Dev Interrupted has a podcast[8], Discord Community[9] with more than 1000 members[10], and article/blog site[6]. They've also hosted events with software development leaders such as Dana Lawson, VP of Engineering at GitHub, Kathryn Koehler, Director of Productivity Engineering at Netflix, and Charity Majors, CTO of Honeycomb[11]
