Lingodroids
Lingodroids [1] are a species of robot that evolve their own languages to talk about space and time. Many different species of talking robots exist[2]. The thing that distinguishes Lingodroids is their ability to map their environment and use the maps to understand the meanings of spatial words.

Mapping[edit]
The Lingodroid mapping system is called RatSLAM [3] and is inspired by biology. All mammals have a navigation system centred on the hippocampus, a structure deep in the brain.
