Lintro Music Publishing (abbreviated as LMP) is an independent music publishing company based in Trinidad and Tobago.
Lintro Music Publishing owns and/or administers works by songwriters, music producers, and artists, and represents publishing catalogs. The company’s business model focuses on creating, protecting and promoting songs and musical compositions of their songwriters and artists globally. LMP manages the songs and makes sure that all of the royalties to which their songwriters, producers, and artists are entitled are being collected and paid appropriately and promptly.[1]
History
In October 2016, Lintro Music Publishing was founded by Lintro. Shortly thereafter, the company opted in to services from Songtradr, utilizing what they offered in content managing and music licensing.[2]
Within the last quarter of 2016, Lintro Music Publishing worked alongside Lanzie Music, an independent record label, rendering services especially in the administration and the registration process for several songwriters and music producers with both local and international Performance Rights Organization (PRO) ASCAP and COTT.
In the second quarter of 2017, Lintro Music Publishing continued utilizing Songtradr, and opted in to a third party non-exclusive in-store radio license with a major fast-food retailer with more than 8,000 locations in the United States where curated popular sounding music was played as background music via an in-store overhead streaming radio.[1]
In May 2017, LMP opted in to a third-party non-exclusive master use license with an international in-store/overhead streaming radio music provider operating throughout Europe. LMP also opted in to a third-party non-exclusive license with a major telecommunications content provider in Nigeria to provide streaming and ring-tone access to licensed music to millions of paying subscribers across the continent of Africa. In addition, within the very same month, LMP opted in to a third-party non-exclusive Synchronization and Master Use License with a rapidly growing podcast platform called Omny Studios in Australia.
In June 2017, LMP opted in to a third-party non-exclusive license with MediaNet. Further to this, LMP also opted in to a third-party non-exclusive license with Mood Media for in-store overhead streaming radio across the United States.[3]
In the third quarter of 2017, LMP opted in to a third party non-exclusive license with PlayNetwork Inc, for in-store overhead streaming radio worldwide.
In the year 2018, Lintro Music Publishing developed sustainability and thus the company began exponentially supporting and working with more songwriters and artists from: Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Uganda, Nigeria, USA, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Lintro Music Publishing continues to network with other music publishing companies, music rights management companies, content managing and licensing marketplace platforms to increase their ability to efficiently exploit the copyrights for their catalogue globally.[3]
