Lalisa Manoban (Thai : ลลิสา มโนบาล; RTGS: Lalisa Manobal; born Pranpriya Manoban; Thai: ปราณปริยา มโนบาล on March 27, 1997), better known by her nickname Lisa (Hangul: 리사; Thai: ลิซ่า), is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer and model based in South Korea. She is best known for being a member of the South Korean girl group Black Pink.
Early Life
Lisa was born Pranpriya Manoban in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother's name is Chitthip Bruschweiler. Her birth father's name is unknown. Her stepfather, Marco Bruschweiler, is a certified Swiss Master Chef and is part of the Global Master Chef of World Chef Association[1]. As a child, she was part of the dance crew "We Zaa Cool" with Got7's BamBam.[2]
In 2010 she was accepted into YG Entertainment following a YG Audition in Thailand, making her the first non-Korean artist to sign with the label.[3]
Career
Lisa was the second member to be revealed of the girl group Blackpink[4]. The group officially debuted on August 8, 2016, with their single Square One, consisting of the tracks Boombayah and Whistle.[5]
