Lalisa Manoban (Thai : ลลิสา มโนบาล; RTGS: Lalisa Manobal; born Pranpriya Manoban; Thai: ปราณปริยา มโนบาล on March 27, 1996), better known by her nickname Lisa (Hangul: 리사; Thai: ลิซ่า), is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer and model based in South Korea. She is best known for being a member of the South Korean girl group Black Pink.

Early Life[edit]

Lisa was born Pranpriya Manoban in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother's name is Chitthip Bruschweiler. Her birth father's name is unknown. Her stepfather, Marco Bruschweiler, is a certified Swiss Master Chef and is part of the Global Master Chef of World Chef Association[1]. As a child, she was part of the dance crew "We Zaa Cool" with Got7's BamBam.[2]

In 2010 she was accepted into YG Entertainment following a YG Audition in Thailand, making her the first non-Korean artist to sign with the label.[3]

Career[edit]

Lisa was the second member to be revealed of the girl group Blackpink[4]. The group officially debuted on August 8, 2016, with their single Square One, consisting of the tracks Boombayah and Whistle.[5]
