Madrigal family[edit]

Agustín[edit]

Agustín, voiced by Wilmer Valderrama, is Mirabel's 50-year-old father and Julieta's husband, who Bush described as "accident-prone".[1][2]

Alma (Abuela)[edit]

Alma, voiced by María Cecilia Botero, is Mirabel's 75-year-old grandmother and the family matriarch.[1] Her full name is not given in the film.[3] Olga Merediz provides Alma's singing voice,[4] and Botero reprised her role in the Spanish-language dubbing of the film.[5][6]

Antonio[edit]

Antonio, voiced by Ravi Cabot-Conyers, is Pepa and Félix's youngest son, Dolores and Camilo's brother, and Mirabel's cousin, who looks up to her and considers her a big sister. He can speak to and understand animals, and is 5.[1]

Bruno[edit]

Bruno, voiced by John Leguizamo, is Mirabel's 50-year-old ostracized uncle who has the ability to see the future.[7]

Camilo[edit]

Camilo, voiced by Rhenzy Feliz, is Pepa and Félix's 15-year-old son,[2] Dolores and Antonio's brother, and Mirabel's cousin who can shapeshift. Castro Smith stated that Camilo is someone who "doesn't quite know who they are yet".[1]

Dolores[edit]

Dolores, voiced by Adassa, is Pepa and Félix's oldest daughter, Camilo and Antonio's sister, and Mirabel's cousin, who has super-hearing.[1] She is 21.[8]

Félix[edit]

Félix, voiced by Mauro Castillo, is Mirabel's uncle and Pepa's husband who balances her out. Bush stated that Félix is "just there to have a good time!".[1]

Isabela[edit]

Isabela, voiced by Diane Guerrero, is Mirabel's oldest sister, who is 21.[8] Director Byron Howard described her as "perfect" and "a success". She can make flowers bloom everywhere, but secretly struggles to keep up her glamorous disposition.[1]

Julieta[edit]

Julieta, voiced by Angie Cepeda, is Mirabel's 50-year-old mother and Agustín's wife who can heal people with her cooking.[1]

Luisa[edit]

Luisa, voiced by Jessica Darrow, is Mirabel's second oldest sister, who is 19.[8] Co-writer Charise Castro Smith described Luisa as someone who "[carries] all the burdens and never [complains]". She has superhuman strength, but harbors anxiety about falling behind in her duties and letting her family down. [1]

Mirabel[edit]

Mirabel, voiced by Stephanie Beatriz, is depicted as an imperfect and quirky but emotional and empathetic 15-year-old[9] girl who is the only member of the Madrigal family to not receive a magical gift. When their "miracle" begins to fade, she takes it upon herself to save the magic, learning of her familial troubles along the way.

Pedro (Abuelo)[edit]

Pedro was married to Alma before his death before the movie takes place, as depicted in an animated sequence during "Dos Oruguitas".

Pepa[edit]

Pepa, voiced by Carolina Gaitán, is Mirabel's 50-year-old aunt and Félix's wife whose mood controls the weather. She often creates rain and storms due to her strong emotions.[1]

Mariano, voiced by Maluma, is Isabela's ex-fiancé and Dolores' boyfriend.[10]
