Overview[edit]

The following is an index of the previously published volumes of the Magazine Enterprises, AC Comics, Canton Press, or otherwise Marvel Comics titles and series published as Ghost Rider, but beginning with the first iterations of the character as a western hero in the 1950's and 60's.

Later the series was rebooted within the separate continuity created in ~November 1971 for the Marvel Spotlight vol. 1 (1971) tryout book. The following self-titled series also follows the recent welcoming of two Ghost Rider series formerly separated under Marvel Comic's Marvel Knights imprint into a single volume number and "legacy" issue numbering.

This enters them into the central collective "canon" of the characters/personas Johnny Blazes', Danny Ketch's, and Alejandra Jones' "mainline" (Earth-Prime / Earth-616) list of titles towards the cumulative inclusion of a "Marvel Legacy Numbering", which designates the beginning of the latest volume, first published estimated in April of 2022 as:

Ghost Rider Volume 9 (2022), #1 [Legacy #246],

This article also features a section on the canonical and largely popular "spin-off" team-up title Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance, the much less-well known B-title known simply as Blaze, the eventual canon continuation of Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch within the mini-series Spirits of Vengeance: "War At the Gates of Hell", as well as a few other one-shots or miniseries placed within the original two "Spirits of Vengeance" characters' collective storyline and legacy numbering canon.

This revamp will most likely place Robbie Reyes within his own numbering and parallel story, the fourth character within the Earth-616/Earth-Prime canon to subject themselves to possession by the eponymous demonic entity/(entities?) known as an "Spirit of Vengeance", one calling itself Eli. Robbie is whom the original series All-New Ghost Rider features as it's central character, which then continues in the Secret Wars tie-in Ghost Racers, then continued within the 7th volume to the series' greater canon, all into it's own respective "legacy" numbering and separate respective sub-canon.

There has also been a fifth addition to the roster of personas possessing the powers and abilities of the Spirit of Vengeance, or Ghost Rider, now known as the "Spirit Rider", for her abilties to truely and entirely tame her possessing spirit. Named Kushala, she hails from an 1800's-era timeline, and has a cross-over story with Johnny Blaze within the pages of the Spirits of Vengeance: Spirit Rider #1 One-shot (October 2021).

So here are the chapters by canonical order and release date including their (relatively recent) respective Marvel Legacy Numbering.
