0-9[edit]
- 1TED Now Hiring (2020)
- 1Ted: Now Hiring is a job-hiring segment that aims to provide job applicants with opportunities amid the pandemic. In the segment, two applicants called appli-candidates go head-to-head in three rounds to convince an employer to hire them for a job opening.[1][2]
A[edit]
- Ang Tanong, Ang Sagot (2015)
- Five audience members are picked to answer a question based on a phrase or word. The audience member with the correct answer wins ₱1,000.
- Anne Saya sa Japan (2015–2017)
- Clips of Anne Curtis' trip to Japan are shown before the commercial break. Three telephone numbers are then revealed to THE home viewers after the break. A wheel determines which phone number and the home viewer caller will be picked. If the chosen home viewer answers the question correctly, they win a cash prize.
- AdVice Ganda (2015, 2019)
- Vice Ganda portrays Madam Bertud to provide relationship-related advice to the audience. The segment was derived from a skit in Sine Mo 'To with Teddy Corpuz and Jugs Jugueta. The popular segment briefly returns for the limited edition of their 10th anniversary of the longest running variety show.
- Ansabe?! (2015)
- [3] The segment, lifted from the Tagalog question "Ano'ng sabi?" (English: "What did you say?"), is guessing game for two players. The contestants must guess five simple words in two minutes from Prince Bang Hyun Sung (portrayed by Ryan Bang) outside the studio. Since the player cannot hear the words, they have to rely on monitor screens and watch the movement of Ryan's mouth. The players are assisted by Lee Min Jhong (portrayed by Jhong Hilario) while Ryan Bang is accompanied by Minister Kim Chi (portrayed by Kim Atienza). Each correctly guessed word is worth ₱1,000. An additional ₱5,000 is awarded to the player who has scored greater than their opponent or the contestant with the fastest guessing time in case of a tie.
- If either one or both contestants fail to guess a single word, Kim receives a punishment.
- Arte Mo (2012, 2014, 2018)
- Thirty random contestants are asked a multiple choice question about pop culture. A cast member of the show acts out the four possible choices. Contestants are then given an ample amount of time to line up behind the correct answer. The process is repeated until there is only one person standing. The winning contestant wins ₱10,000 and advances to Showtime Goodtime jackpot round.
- Ang Switch Naman (2015)
- The segment features couples dressing up as each other. The winning couple win ₱20,000.
- ArtisTagisan – GagamBattle (2014–2015)
- Two celebrities dress up as spiders and face off in a gigantic spider fighting set.
B[edit]
- Boom Pares (2016)
- The segment is a matching game for home viewers. The objective of the game is to correctly pair the photos of four hosts. At the start of the game, three telephone numbers are revealed to the home viewers. A wheel determines which phone number and home viewer caller is selected. If the chosen home viewer correctly guesses the program host and/or pairs the program host, they win a gift or a cash prize.
- Bida Kapamilya (2012–2014)
- The segment is a family talent competition. Two families made up of 5 to 25 members battle each other through a group performance in the daily round. Expecially for You (2023-present)
Expecially for You (stylized as "eXpecially for you" and "EXpecially for You") is a reality dating segment that premiered on December 4, 2023, replacing the dance competition segment It's Showdown. The segment's name is a pun on Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan's song Especially for You, as well as the word "ex," which refers to a previous relationship.
This segment is open to people of all genders aged 18 and up. Auditions are open to: any couple can audition for the show, but they must have broken up and be on good terms; and to audition as a searchee, any civilian who is single and "ready to mingle" regardless of gender can do so. As of February 28, 2024, auditions are currently being held on-site and in malls across the country.
Expecially for You is divided into four parts. Before the game begins, the hosts will question the couple about how their relationship began and ended. During the game, the searcher is free to express his or her thoughts and opinions about the searchees. The searcher can also influence the finder's decision to locate his or her match. Following each interrogation of each searchee by the searcher, the searcher must give a "green flag" (a slang term for a positive action or trait indicative of healthy behavior) to a searchee who meets his or her criteria. The searchee with the most "green flags" from the finder will be compared with the finder to see if they are a match. Otherwise, a "Love Selling" round will take place if two or all three of the searchees are tied.
- Searchees' Introduction: Following the ex-couple's interview, the searchees are introduced and given the task of saying a pick-up line for the searcher in order to rise the latter's first impressions about them.
- Exchange of Hearts: The finder will interview each of the searchees usually a set of 3 questions is provided.
- Love Selling: In case of a tie (if a green flag was given on each of the searchees after the searcher's set of questions are answered), the searchees will be given 20 seconds to explain why the finder should choose them and convince to be the finder's pair.
- Ex-Deal: The two non-selected searchees are revealed and introduced to the searcher first, followed by the chosen searchee. The searcher will have the final say and will offer advice to the new couple at this stage. The newly matched pair are allocated to have dinner together at a restaurant chosen by the show.

- Istoryahan (2015)
- A sub-segment spun-off from "Sine Mo'To" wherein hosts are gathered onstage and one of them tells some tall tale fictional stories and humorous jokes. It is regarded as a filler segment, and is only produced when warranted in cases when the last segment ends earlier than expected and leaves vacant time (more or less than 15 minutes) before the show ends. It is succeeded by Walang Basagan ng Trip.
- Isang Tanong, Isang Milyon (2014–2015)
- There are two rounds in this segment. In the elimination round, the hosts picks one contestant's name from the box to determine which one of the six has the power to play first round. The chosen contestant goes to the podium (to the left side of the stage), introduces themselves and is interviewed. Usually after this, they will sing/dance if they have a talent. The hosts pick a category and the contestant with power has the right to choose a player. Like the first contestant, the chosen contestant does the same but this time, they go to the podium to the other side of the stage. After that, the contestant with power is asked if they will play or pass to the other player. If they choose to play, the two contestants have a face off and copy the pose that Vhong Navarro indicates. Otherwise if pass is selected, the other contestant answers the question, and if the contestant wins, they now have the power. Otherwise the first contestant will have ₱2,000 and if this scenario continues, the host doubles the money of the first contestant. The last person standing wins ₱20,000 plus the money that they earned during the rounds and proceed to the jackpot round. If someone loses, they win nothing.
- The winner of the Elimination Round proceeds to this round. The hosts of It's Showtime introduce eight word cards that present a mystery question. Each word is represented by a letter of the word "Showtime". To obtain hints, the player chooses three cards to open. They have 60 seconds to identify and answer the mystery question. If the timer goes off, the player must give a final answer. Then the hosts open the remaining five cards to identify the question and the answer. If the answer is correct, the contestant wins the ₱1,000,000 jackpot prize. Otherwise, they win the prize from the elimination round.
- I Know U (2010–2011)
- A quiz portion wherein 25 random audience members will participate in the game. There will 5 stations composed of 5 members each, vying for the ₱20,000 cash prize.
- Isip Bata (2023-present)
Isip-Bata (lit. 'Kids' Mind') is a game segment for kids. Aired every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, a group of 20 contestants related to a specific category or location (also known as the Madlang Hakot) will play. The segment is divided into two parts: an elimination round dubbed as Choose Ko Po! and the jackpot round dubbed as ApPair Tayo. This segment premiered on February 20, 2023. This segment is currently on hiatus, with ₱175,000 as the next jackpot prize, due to the semifinals and grand finals of Mini Miss U, Magpasikat 2023 and It's Showdown.
All contestants are chosen by the day's assigned host(s), who is in charge of selecting the players for that episode from a community. Before the initial round begins, all contestants will be given one thousand pesos (₱1,000) for participating.
- Elimination Round - Choose Ko Po!
In Choose Ko Po!, the hosts will ask a question along with four choices to the contestants, which, in turn, will be based on the survey conducted by the assigned hosts at the various schools and communities throughout the country. They are only given ten seconds to choose the answer they think is the majority vote of the students. After that, the Batang Cute-Po (the name of a group of kids based on the title of FPJ's Batang Quiapo) will give their opinions on the choices of the question in play. This will be repeated until one contestant remains, at which point he or she will be eligible to play for the jackpot prize at stake. The person who wins the first round will be given ten thousand pesos (₱10,000). In rare cases, if there are fewer than ten people left and no one lines up at the correct answer, all contestants are eliminated and do not advance to the jackpot round. The pot will be automatically increased by twenty five thousand pesos (₱25,000) at the next episode.
- Jackpot Round - ApPair Tayo
In ApPair Tayo, the contestant can win as much as fifty thousand pesos (₱50,000) or more, depending on the stake. Here, the contestant aims to "match" the answer of the Batang Cute-Po, in which the contestant must pick his or her partner from the Bowl-lilit, which contains their names. Both the contestant and his or her partner will be presented with a question along with three choices; the contestant must choose which of the three choices he or she thinks will be the answer of the Batang Cute-Po member. Take note that the question is asked on the spot to both the contestant and the Batang Cute-Po member chosen, on which the correct answer will be based.
Note that the contestant must get the first question right and have three consecutive correct answers to win the jackpot prize. However, if the contestant gets the first or the next questions wrong, he or she will lose the eligibility to win the jackpot and instead will be asked to match the remaining questions for ten thousand pesos (₱10,000) per question. If this happens, twenty-five thousand pesos (₱25,000) will be added to the pot for the next episode whenever the current contestant fails to claim the jackpot of the current episode, which will then reset back to fifty thousand pesos (₱50,000) once it is claimed.

- Preliminary Round In the preliminary round, three (later reduced to two starting on Week 4) contestants will compete to be the day's winner. The competition is divided into two rounds
- the interview portion and the acting portion dubbed as Sine Miss U. During the interview portion, the hosts will ask the contestants a series of questions about their costume, life experiences, and so on. Meanwhile, at the Sine Miss U, the hosts will act out various scenarios that will put each contestant's ability to perform impromptu acting to the test. The criteria for judging consists of 50% for both the interview and acting portion. The day's winner will receive a sash, crown, flowers, and a cash prize of ₱10,000.
- Semi-Finals The semi-finals round began on October 2, 2023, with 46 semi-finalists scheduled to compete again during this round. Each day, four or five semi-finalists will compete for a spot in the grand finals. The semi-finals are split into two parts
- the talent round and the interview round. Nonetheless, the mechanics of this round are the same as those of the preliminary rounds. The winning semi-finalist advances to the grand finals and will receive a sash, crown, flowers, and a cash prize of ₱25,000 (later ₱20,000). Note that some contestants have withdrawn from the competition due to personal reasons.
- Grand Finals Dubbed the "Cutest Finale", the grand finals round took place on October 28, 2023. Thirteen grand finalists competed for the final five spots to the crown. Still, the criteria for this round is the same as of the previous rounds. The finals were divided into two rounds
- the Mini Mensahe round in which all 13 finalists made a message to a person or cartoon character that the hosts will choose from a bowl, and the Ultimate Sine Miss U round where the final five contestants had their impromptu acting tested for the last time. At the end of the competition, Arianah Kelsey of Pampanga won the competition and received a cash prize of ₱300,000, a crown, sash, a contract from Polaris - Star Magic, and an all-expense paid trip for 4 to Hong Kong Disneyland.

- Miss Q and A (2017–2019, 2022)
- A segment, derived from the "Question and Answer" segments of beauty pageants, is a pageant for gays and transwomen. The segment focuses not on the beauty of the candidates but for their wit in answering questions. In every round, they have to start with "I believe," and end their answer with "'And I... thank you!"
- Three candidates compete for the crown as Miss Q and A for three rounds. The competition starts as 3 to 4 candidates enter the stage one by one. As the candidates walk on the stage, the hosts gives a short background about the candidates such as educational background, occupation, etc. The candidates are given the chance to introduce themselves and give comedic proverbs which they "believe" in (this is very common to any gay beauty pageants throughout the Philippines). In season 2, the candidate with the best introduction wins ₱5,000.
- In the first round, the candidates must answer trivial questions. The first round is called "Tumpak Ganern!". The first two or three candidates to answer one question correctly advance to the next round. In season 2, the first two or three candidates with the most number of correct answers will proceed to the next round.
- In the second round, the remaining candidates are asked with outrageous questions from a bowl of questions. The second round is called "Wit Lang!". Example: If there are one thousand grams in a kilogram, how many grams are there in an instagram?). The candidate who gave the "wittiest" answer, according to a panel of judges, will be declared the daily winner and advance to the final round.
- In the final round, the daily winner will face the reigning Miss Q and A. The final round is called "Beklamation!". In this round, a single, serious question (sometimes about recent events and social issues) are asked to both contenders. The winner will be declared through the average score of the panel of judges. If the winner is the daily winner, she will be the new reigning Miss Q and A. If the reigning Miss Q and A managed to defend the title, an additional crown is added. The longer the reigning Miss Q and A defend the title, the more crowns are added. If the reigning Miss Q and A managed to defend her title 3 times, she will advance to the semi-finals. If she managed to defend 10 times, she will advance to the grand finals without going through the semi-finals and will be added to the Hall of Fame. If the reigning Miss Q and A advances to the Hall of Fame and the grand finals, the crown is now vacant.
- When the crown is vacant, four candidates will compete instead of three and the last candidate standing after the three rounds shall be the new Miss Q and A.
- On June 30, 2018, held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila, Juliana Parizcova Segovia was named as the first "Miss Q and A 2018".[20][21][22][23] While Matrica Mae Centino and Lars Pacheco are 1st and 2nd runner-ups, respectively.
- On February 23, 2019, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the season 2 ended with Mitch Montecarlo Suansane named as the new "Miss Q and A 2019", while the runners-up are Czedy Rodriguez and Chad Kinis Lustre-Reid. It was then replaced by KapareWHO and BidaMan on its former slot.
- Mister Q & A (2019)
- Mister Q & A is a beauty pageant question-and-answer segment for men, similar to the previous segment, Miss Q and A. In every round, they have to start with "Ganito kasi iyan," and end their answer with "'Gano'n iyon!" There are three rounds:
Round | Round name |
---|---|
1 | May Tama Ka (equivalent to Tumpak Ganern!/IbiGAY Mo Na!) |
2 | Dami Mong Alam (equivalent to Wit Lang!) |
3 | Ano? Sagot! (equivalent to Beklamation!) |
