List of World War II Bronze Star Medal recipients
The following is a listing of noteworthy individuals who received the Bronze Star Medal for valor or meritorious service during World War II. Although the Bronze Star was not established until February 1944, it could be retroactively awarded to December 7, 1941. In 1947, the Bronze Star was retroactively awarded to all U.S. Army soldiers who had received the Combat Infantryman Badge during World War II.
