Current Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority Metro Local routes in Los Angeles County, California. This list does not include the routes of Metro's Rapid or Express bus services; nor does it include Metro Liner's bus rapid transit Orange and Silver Lines.

Note: Metro Local lines that "operate ever 15 minutes or better" only operate at said frequencies during weekdays. Generally, bus frequencies are reduced to every 15-20 minutes during weekends.

Generally speaking, lines 0-99 run into Downtown, lines 100-199 run west-east, lines 200-299 run north-south, lines 300-399 provide limited stop service, and lines 600-699 are shuttles or circulars.

0 - SPECIAL[edit]

This line is just like line 600/800.


2 - Sunset Blvd. - P.C.H. - Downtown LA[edit]

Line 2 runs primarily through Sunset Boulevard between Downtown Los Angeles and Pacific Palisades. It also runs via the UCLA campus in Westwood, and some trips terminate there. Operated by the WSC-6, 7, and 10 divisions. This line's terminal varies. Going west, the terminals are Sunset/Vermont Metro Red Line Station, UCLA/Westwood, Sunset/Church, Sunset/Temescal Canyon, Sunset/PCH, Sunset/Fairfax and West Hollywood-Sunset/San Vicente. Going east, the terminals are Broadway/Venice in Downtown LA, 7th/Hill, and Sunset/Alvarado in Echo Park. This line also interlines with Line 217 during night owl trips. This line operates every 5-10 minutes during peak hours.

4 - Santa Monica Blvd. - Downtown LA[edit]

Line 4 runs between Downtown Los Angeles and West Los Angeles via Santa Monica Boulevard. Line 4 operates every 15 minutes or better between Downtown and West LA from early morning until early evening. From late evening to the early morning, service runs every 20 minutes (likely due to the nightlife in West Hollywood) and then every 30 until the AM rush. Santa Monica Transit Line 1 provides local daytime service between Westwood and Santa Monica and Metro Rapid Line 704 provides through service between Downtown LA and Santa Monica during the daytime and late evening. During late evening and owl periods, Line 4 continues to Santa Monica, stopping at all Big Blue stops. Operated by the GC-2, WSC-7 and WSC-10 divisions. Due to the 704's extended hours, the Line 4 now departs Downtown LA to Santa Monica at 07:59 P.M, arriving at 9:43 P.M.

10 - Melrose Avenue - Temple Street[edit]

Line 10 operates between West Hollywood and Downtown LA throughout Melrose Avenue and Temple Street. Most trips are interlined with Line 48 in Downtown LA and continue to, or originate from, Avalon Station or San Pedro and Manchester. Owl service terminates at the Beverly Red Line Station. Some trips terminate at Vine Street in South Hollywood. Operated by the GC-2 and WSC-7 divisions. During peak hours, this line operates every 6-10 minutes.

14 - Beverly Boulevard[edit]

Line 14 runs between Downtown LA and Beverly Hills on Beverly Boulevard. Service operates 24/7. Most trips are interlined with Line 37 and continue to, or originate from, West LA Transit Center. It serves the Beverly Center, and some trips terminate there. Other trips terminate in Beverly Hills on the streets Beverly Boulevard and Pico Avenue. The route operates every 4-10 minutes or better between Beverly Center and Downtown. Late night trips terminate at Western Avenue. Operated by the WSC-7 division.

16/316 - West 3rd Street[edit]

Line 16 runs between Downtown LA and Century City while running primarily on 3rd Street. Line 316 operates weekday rush hours in both directions and makes limited stops on 3rd Street between Alvarado Street and La Cienega Boulevard. The route is one of few that runs every 10 minutes or better during the daytime and early evening hours. During that period, most service operates between Downtown and Cedars-Sinai. This line is insane, operating every 1-5 minutes during peak hours. Operated by the GC-1 and WSC-7 divisions.

Service on East 3rd Street is served by Montebello Transit Line 40.

18 - West 6th Street - Whittier Boulevard[edit]

Line 18 starts at the Western Purple Line Station, then runs through 6th Street in the west, 5th (westbound) and 6th (eastbound) Streets in Downtown LA, and Whittier Boulevard in the east, running to the Montebello Metrolink Station. Westbound owl service terminates at Broadway in Downtown LA and eastbound owl service terminates at Garfield Avenue in East LA. Some westbound trips may begin/terminate at Wilshire/Vermont Station, and eastbound trips at the Commerce Center. Line 18 runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 720 on 6th Street and Whittier Boulevard between Valencia Street and Commerce Center. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Vermont Avenue and the Montebello Metrolink. Operated by the GC-1 division. Service east of Montebello is provided by Montebello Transit line 10.

20 - Wilshire Boulevard[edit]

Line 20 runs primarily on Wilshire Boulevard between Downtown Los Angeles and Westwood. It provides owl service to Santa Monica, operating the same route as Metro Rapid Line 720, which it runs alongside. Santa Monica Transit line 2 provides local daytime service between Westwood and Santa Monica. The route operates every 15 minutes or better for its entire route. Operated by the WSC-6, 7, and 10 divisions.

28 - West Olympic Boulevard - Cypress Avenue - Eagle Rock Boulevard[edit]

Line 28 operates between Eagle Rock and Century City through Eagle Rock Boulevard, Cypress Avenue, and Olympic Boulevard. Some trips originate/terminate at 7th Street in Downtown, while some trips on Olympic Boulevard are shortened to/from Fairfax Avenue and some trips on Eagle Rock Boulevard are shortened to/from Verdugo Road. Line 28 runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 728 throughout Olympic Boulevard. Operated by the SGV-3 and WSC-7 divisions.

Santa Monica Transit Line 5 provides service on Olympic Boulevard between Century City and Santa Monica. Line 66 operates on East Olympic Boulevard.

30/330 - San Vicente Boulevard - West Pico Boulevard - East 1st Street[edit]

Line 30 operates between the Indiana Station and West Hollywood through 1st Street, Pico Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard. Eastbound shortlines terminate at the Little Tokyo Station and westbound shortlines at the Pico-Rimpau Transit Center, and it runs every 15 minutes or better through that distance. Line 330 operates weekday rush hours in both directions and makes limited stops on Pico Boulevard between Grand Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard. Operated by the GC-1, WSC-7, and 10 divisions.

Santa Monica Transit lines 7 and Rapid 7 provides service on Pico Boulevard west of Pico-Rimpau.

33 - Venice Boulevard[edit]

Line 33 operates between Venice and Downtown Los Angeles throughout Venice Boulevard. It provides owl service between Union Station and Santa Monica, operating the same route as Metro Rapid line 733, which it runs alongside. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Operated by the WSC-6, 7, and 10 divisions.

35 - West Washington Boulevard[edit]

Line 35, split from Line 68 in December 2007, operates between Downtown LA and Fairfax Avenue in Culver City through Washington Boulevard. Evening trips terminate at 7th/Maple. The route operates every 15 minutes or better for its entire length. Operated by the WSC-7 division.

Service west of Fairfax Avenue is provided by Culver City Transit Line 1, and East Washington Boulevard by Montebello Transit line 50.

37 - Adams Boulevard[edit]

Line 37 runs between West LA Transit Center and Downtown LA through Adams Boulevard. Most trips are interlined with Line 14, originating from, or continuing to, Beverly Hills or Beverly Center. The route operates every 15 minutes or better for its entire length. This route's owl service operates as a loop, where it runs westbound on Adams Boulevard with Line 38, running eastbound on Jefferson Boulevard, and it doesn't operate the West LA Transit Center. Operated by the WSC-7 division.

38 - Jefferson Boulevard[edit]

Line 38 operates between West LA Transit Center and Downtown LA through Jefferson Boulevard. This route's owl service operates as a loop, running on Adams Boulevard (westbound) and Jefferson Boulevard (eastbound), and doesn't serve West LA Transit Center. Between 9 pm and midnight, this route is extended to 7th Street. Operated by the WSC-7 division.

Prior to December 2007, it used to be interlined with Line 71, continuing to, or originating from, CSULA.

40 - Hawthorne Boulevard - West Martin Luther King, Junior Boulevard[edit]

Line 40 operates from Union Station/Gateway Transit Center to the South Bay Galleria, running on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hawthorne Boulevard. It also briefly operates on Crenshaw Boulevard and Florence Avenue through the Crenshaw District and Inglewood and serves the Inglewood Transit Center. It also serves the Hawthorne Green Line station, and some trips terminate there. Owl service operates between Downtown LA and LAX Transit Center. Line 40 runs alongside Metro Rapid line 740 between Crenshaw/ML King and the South Bay Galleria. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Downtown and Hawthorne Station. 60-foot NABI articulated buses are used on this route. Operated by the SB-18 division.

Service on Hawthorne Boulevard south of Artesia Boulevard is operated by Metro Local line 344 and Torrance Transit line 8.

45 - Broadway[edit]

Line 45 operates between Lincoln Heights and Rosewood through Broadway. 40-foot New Flyer low floor (5300-5599) buses are used on this route. Prior to December 2007 changes, this route used to go to Huntington Drive and Broadway in El Sereno, but since been replaced by the extension of Line 252. It serves the Harbor Freeway Station, and some trips terminate there. Owl service is extended to the South Bay Pavilion at Carson. Line 45 runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 745 for most of its route, and also alongside Line 40 north of MLK Boulevard. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Chinatown and the Harbor Freeway station. Operated by the GC-1 and SGV-3 divisions.

48 - South Main Street - San Pedro Street[edit]

Line 48 operates between Downtown LA and the Avalon Green Line Station through Main Street and San Pedro Street. Service is interlined with Line 10, continuing to, or originating from, West Hollywood. Some trips terminate at Manchester Avenue. Operated by the GC-2 and WSC-7 divisions.

51 - 7th Street - San Pedro Street - Avalon Boulevard - Compton Boulevard[edit]

Line 51 operates between the Compton Blue Line Station and Wilshire/Vermont Station along Compton Boulevard, Avalon Boulevard, San Pedro Street and 7th Street. In addition, it also serves San Pedro Blue Line Station and Avalon Green Line Station. It runs alongside lines 52 and 352 between Wilshire/Vermont and Avalon/Compton. Owl service operates daily and runs between 7th/Broadway and Central/85th. Operated by the GC-2 division.

Compton Boulevard east of the Compton Station is assumed by Metro Local line 127.

52/352 - 7th Street - San Pedro Street - Avalon Boulevard[edit]

Line 52 runs between the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Wilshire/Vermont Station through Avalon Boulevard, San Pedro Street and 7th Street. In addition, it also serves San Pedro Blue Line Station and Avalon Green Line Station, and Line 352 makes limited stops along that distance during weekday rush hours in both directions. It runs alongside line 51 between Wilshire/Vermont and Avalon/Compton. Operated by the GC-2 division.

Metro Local line 246 provides service on Avalon Boulevard south of Victoria Street.

53 - Central Avenue[edit]

Line 53 operates mainly on Central Avenue between Downtown LA and CSUDH. It serves the Avalon Green Line Station, and some trips terminate there. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Downtown and the Avalon station. Operated by the GC-1 division.

55/355 - Compton Avenue[edit]

Line 55 operates mainly on Compton Avenue between Downtown LA and the Rosa Parks Station. Line 55 also serves the Firestone Blue Line Station, and some trips terminate there. Line 355 operates weekday rush hours in the peak direction (northbound in the AM, southbound in the PM) and makes limited stops between the Firestone and Grand stations. Owl service is interlined with Line 202, and owl service trips run between Downtown LA and the Compton Blue Line Station. Operated by the GC-2 and WSC-10divisions.

60 - Santa Fe Avenue - Pacific Boulevard - Long Beach Boulevard[edit]

Line 60 operates between Downtown LA and the Artesia Blue Line Station, running mainly on Santa Fe Avenue, Pacific Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard. It provides owl service to the Long Beach Transit Mall, operating on the same route as Long Beach Transit line 51 (providing daytime service to Transit Mall) and the Metro Blue Line. Some owl service trips run through the Compton Blue Line Station. Some trips terminate/originate at Palm Place in Huntington Park or the Long Beach Green Line Station. It operates alongside Metro Rapid Line 760. Operated by the GC-2 division.

62 - Telegraph Road/Norwalk/Hawaiian Gardens[edit]

Line 62, formerly Line 462 prior to October 1998, and Line 362 from then to December 2005, operates between Downtown LA and Hawaiian Gardens along Telegraph Road. It serves cities like Hawaiian Gardens, Cerritos, Norwalk, Downey, Santa Fe Springs, Montebello, and the City of Commerce. Some trips terminate at the Los Cerritos Center or Norwalk. Operated by the GC-1 division.

66 - West 8th Street - East Olympic Boulevard[edit]

Line 66, starting at the Western Purple Line Station, runs along 8th Street in the west, 8th (westbound) and 9th (eastbound) Streets in Downtown LA and Olympic Boulevard in the east while ending at the Montebello Metrolink Station. Some trips may terminate at Western Avenue, Soto Street or Eastern Avenue. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between 8th and Western and Soto and Olympic. 60-foot NABI articulated buses are mostly used on this route (with some standard 40ft. and 45ft. vehicles used on occasions). Operated by the GC-1 and WSC-10 divisions. Former limited line 366.

68 - Cesar Chavez Avenue[edit]

Line 68 operates primarily on Cesar Chavez Avenue between The Shops at Montebello Town Centre and Downtown Los Angeles. Some trips terminate at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park. Line 68 runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 770 through Cesar Chavez Avenue. Some weekday trips are extended to Indiana Station via 1st Street from East L.A. College. Operated by the WSC-10 division.

Prior to December 2007, this line ran all the way to West L.A. Transit Center through Washington Boulevard and ran along limited line 368.

70/70A - Marengo Street - Garvey Avenue[edit]

Line 70 runs between Downtown LA and El Monte Station through Marengo Street and Garvey Avenue. Line 70 runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 770 between Atlantic Boulevard and El Monte Station. Owl service trips operate to/from 7th Street in Downtown LA, and it also replaces Line 71 through Wabash Avenue and City Terrace Drive. The route operates every 15 minutes or better for its entire length. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

71/71A - Wabash Avenue - City Terrace Drive[edit]

Line 71/71A runs between Downtown LA and CSULA.Wabash Avenue and City Terrace Drive had been replaced by line 70. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

Prior to December 2007, line 71/71A used to be interlined with Line 38, originating from, or continuing to, West LA.

76/76A - North Main Street - Valley Boulevard[edit]

Line 76 operates between Downtown LA and the El Monte Station, through Valley Boulevard. Evening trips are shortened to Grand-Olive/7th in Downtown LA when using line 76A.The route operates every 15 minutes or better for its entire length. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

Metro Local line 194 provides service east of El Monte on Valley Boulevard.

78/78A/378 - Main Street - Las Tunas Drive[edit]

Line 78 operates from Downtown Los Angeles to South Arcadia, running primarily on Main Street and Las Tunas Drive. It also briefly operates on Live Oak Avenue. Evening trips operate to/from 7th Street in Downtown LA. Line 378 runs weekday rush hours in the peak direction (westbound in the AM, eastbound in the PM) and makes limited stops between Cesar Chavez/Vignes and Las Tunas/Mission. It also runs alongside Line 79 west of Huntington/Main. Some trips run to Live Oak/Las Tunas. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

79/79A - Huntington Drive[edit]

Line 79 operates between Downtown Los Angeles and Arcadia through Huntington Drive. Evening trips run to Maycrest Avenue in El Sereno. It also runs alongside Lines 78 and 378 west of Huntington/Main. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

Service east of Arcadia is provided by Foothill Transit Line 187.

81 - Figueroa Street[edit]

Line 81 runs between the Harbor Freeway Station and the Eagle Rock Plaza through Figueroa Street. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Colorado and Figueroa and the Harbor Freeway Station. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

Torrance Transit Line 1 services Figueroa Street between the Harbor Freeway Station and the Harbor Gateway Transit Center. Former limited line 381

83 - Pasadena Avenue - Marmion Way - York Boulevard[edit]

Line 83 runs between Downtown LA and Eagle Rock through York Boulevard, Marmion Way and Pasadena Avenue. Owl service is extended to Figueroa/Colorado via Eagle Rock Boulevard. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

Prior to December 2007, this route used to be interlined with Line 28, originating from, or continuing to, Century City but since these changes, service now terminates at Venice Boulevard in Downtown Los Angeles.

90/91 - Glendale Avenue - Pennsylvania Avenue (Line 90) - La Crescenta Avenue (Line 91) - Foothill Boulevard[edit]

Line 90 runs between Downtown LA and Olive View Medical Center through Glendale Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue, and Foothill Boulevard. On Sundays and holidays, Line 90 is shortened to Sunland. Line 91 runs between Downtown LA and Sunland through Glendale Avenue, La Crescenta Avenue and Foothill Boulevard. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

92 - Glendale Boulevard - Brand Boulevard - Glenoaks Boulevard[edit]

Line 92 runs between Downtown LA and Burbank Metrolink Station while running throughout Glendale Boulevard, Brand Boulevard and Glenoaks Boulevard. Service operates 24/7. Most of the current route followed the old Pacific Electric Burbank-Glendale Line. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

Prior to June 2007, this route extended all the way to Sylmar Station; the routing to Sylmar Station was split and renumbered to Line 292. Some trips still originate from, or continue to, Sylmar Station as Line 292.

94 - San Fernando Road[edit]

Line 94 runs between Downtown LA and Sun Valley through San Fernando Road. It serves Glendale Transportation Center, Downtown Burbank Station, Bob Hope Airport, and Sun Valley Metrolink Station. Prior to June 2008, this used to be the route occupied by Line 394 but since been replaced by the extension of Line 94 and cancellation of Line 394. As of June 2009, all service north of Sun Valley is operated by Line 224 and Metro Rapid line extension of 794, which it runs alongside. Some early morning and late night trips are interlined with Line 224, which continues to, or originates from, the Olive View Medical Center. Weekend service is extended to Sylmar Station. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

96 - Riverside Drive[edit]

Line 96 runs between Downtown LA and Burbank Station through Riverside Drive. Operated by Transdev.

This line ran to Sherman Oaks until June 2011. It was split with Line 96 itself between Burbank and Downtown LA and Line 155 between Burbank and Sherman Oaks.

100-199[edit]

102 - La Tijera Boulevard - Stocker Street - Martin Luther King, Junior Boulevard - Jefferson Boulevard[edit]

Line 102 runs between LAX Transit Center and South Gate through La Tijera Boulevard, Stocker Street, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Jefferson Boulevard with shortlines at the Jefferson/USC Expo Line Station. Operated by the SB-5 division.

105 - La Cienega Boulevard - Vernon Avenue[edit]

Line 105 operates along La Cienega Boulevard and Vernon Avenue from West Hollywood to Vernon and Santa Fe Avenues in Vernon. Between Vernon Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard, it operates on Rodeo Road (from La Cienega Boulevard to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard), Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (from Rodeo Road to Crenshaw Boulevard), and Crenshaw Boulevard (from Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to Vernon Avenue). Evening trips run from Vernon to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard. It also serves the Washington/Fairfax Transit Hub, and some trips terminate there. It operates alongside Metro Rapid Line 705. Operated by the GC-2, SB-5, and WSC-7 divisions.

108/358 - Slauson Avenue[edit]

Line 108 operates between Marina Del Rey and Pico Rivera along Slauson Avenue. It serves the Westfield Shoppingtown Fox Hills Transit Center, and some trips terminate there. Line 358 runs weekday rush hours in the peak direction (eastbound in the AM, westbound in the PM) and makes limited stops between the Fox Hills Mall and Eastern Avenue. Some trips terminate at Atlantic Boulevard or Eastern Avenue. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Fox Hills TC and Eastern Avenue. Operated by the SB-5 division.

110 - Gage Avenue - Centinela Avenue[edit]

Line 110 operates between Playa Vista and Bell Gardens along Gage Avenue and Centinela Avenue. It serves the Florence Blue Line Station. It serves Westfield Fox Hills, and weekday and Saturday shortlines and Sunday service terminates there. Operated by the SB-5 division.

111/311 - Florence Ave. - LAX City Bus Center - Norwalk[edit]

Line 111 operates between LAX City Bus Center and Norwalk Station via Florence Avenue, and serves the cities of Inglewood, Huntington Park, Bell, Bell Gardens, Downey, Norwalk, and communities of South LA, Florence, and Walnut Park, in addition to the Florence Blue Line Station and the Inglewood Transit Center. Westbound shortlines terminate at either Crenshaw Boulevard or Inglewood Transit Center. Eastbound shortlines terminate at Garfield Avenue. Line 311 operates weekday rush hours in both directions and makes limited stops between Garfield Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Inglewood TC and Bell Gardens. Operated by the SB-18 division.

Line 120 runs on Florence Avenue east of Studebaker Road.

115 - Manchester Boulevard - Firestone Boulevard[edit]

Line 115 operates between Playa del Rey and the Norwalk Station while running on Manchester Avenue and Firestone Boulevard. Operated by the SB-18 division.

117 - Century Boulevard - 103rd Street - Tweedy Boulevard[edit]

Line 117 operates between the LAX City Bus Center and the Lakewood Green Line Station via Century Boulevard, 103rd Street, and Tweedy Boulevard. Operated by the SB-18 division.

120 - Imperial Highway[edit]

Line 120 operates primarily on Imperial Highway between the Aviation Station and the Whittwood Town Center. Portions of Imperial Highway was originally served by the former Line 121. It serves the Norwalk Green Line Station, and some trips terminate there. Operated by the SB-18 division.

125 - Rosecrans Avenue[edit]

Line 125 runs between El Segundo and the Norwalk Green Line Station, running primarily on Rosecrans Avenue. It also serves the Compton Blue Line Station and the Douglas Green Line station. Selected trips terminate at Hawthorne Boulevard. Operated by MV Transportation.

126 - Manhattan Beach Boulevard[edit]

Line 126 runs weekday rush hours between the Hawthorne Station and Manhattan Beach, primarily on Manhattan Beach Boulevard. It serves El Camino College and the Redondo Beach Station. Operated by the SB-18 division.

127 - Compton Boulevard - Somerset Boulevard - Bellflower Boulevard[edit]

Line 127 operates weekdays between the Compton Blue Line Station and the Downey Depot Transportation Center, running on Compton Boulevard, Somerset Boulevard and Bellflower Boulevard. Operated by the SB-18 division.

Long Beach Transit line 91 provides service on Bellflower Boulevard south of Alondra Boulevard.

128 - Alondra Blvd. - Compton Blue Line Station[edit]

Line 128 operates weekdays between the Compton Blue Line Station and the Cerritos Towne Center via Alondra Boulevard. Operated by MV Transportation.

Prior to June 2009 changes, it used to go all the way to La Mirada; the Alondra Boulevard portion east of Carmenita Road was cancelled as a result of duplication with Metro Express Line 460.

130 - Artesia Boulevard[edit]

Line 130 runs primarily on Artesia Boulevard between Redondo Beach and the Los Cerritos Center. It also serves the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and the Artesia Blue Line Station. It also briefly runs on Victoria Street and Walnut Street in Carson. Operated by MV Transportation.

Prior to 2003, the eastern terminus was at the Fullerton Park and Ride and it was adjusted to favor more service on OCTA Line 30.

150 - Ventura Boulevard[edit]

Line 150 runs between Canoga Park and the Universal City/Studio City Station on Ventura Boulevard. It passes close by, but does not directly serve, the Warner Center Transit Hub in Woodland Hills. Line 353 runs weekday rush hours in both directions and makes limited stops between the North Hollywood Station and Topanga Canyon Boulevard and along Lankershim Boulevard to favor more service with Line 224. This line formerly ran to Burbank Metrolink Station serving Universal City, but since replaced by Line 156 between North Hollywood and Universal City and Line 155 between Universal City and Burbank.

154 - Burbank Boulevard - Oxnard Street[edit]

Line 154 runs weekdays between Tarzana and the Burbank Metrolink Station, primarily along Burbank Boulevard and Oxnard Street. It serves the North Hollywood Station. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

Line 161 runs daily, primarily traveling along portions of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Westlake Boulevard, Lindero Canyon Road, Agoura Road, Kanan Road, Roadside Drive, US-101, Avenida San Luis, Ventura Boulevard, and Canoga Avenue. It starts at the Warner Center Transit Hub, and weekday/Saturday service runs to the Thousand Oaks Transit Center, and weekday/Saturday shortlines and Sunday/holiday service is shortened to Westlake Village. On Sundays, all trips are interlined with Line 245, continuing to, or originating from, the Chatsworth Metrolink Station. Operated by the SFV-8 division.

Line 163 runs daily between West Hills Medical Center and Sun Valley along Sherman Way. Most trips terminate at Vineland Avenue and Cantara Street, while others end at Vineland Avenue and Strathern Street. Operated by the SFV-8 and 15 divisions.

Prior to June 2008, this line extended all the way to the Highland Station; the routing to Hollywood was split and renumbered to Line 222. Some early morning and late evening Line 163 trips are still interlined with Line 222, which it continues to, or originates from, Hollywood.

164 - Victory Boulevard[edit]

Line 164 runs daily between West Hills and Burbank Metrolink Station along Victory Boulevard. It serves the Warner Center Transit Hub, and some rush hour trips terminate there. Operated by the SFV-8 and 15 divisions.

Line 165 runs daily between West Hills and Burbank Metrolink Station along Vanowen Street. It serves Bob Hope Airport. 166/364 - Nordhoff Street - Osborne Street[edit]

Line 364 operates weekday rush hours in the peak direction (westbound in the AM and eastbound in the PM) and makes limited stops between Glenoaks/Montague and Canoga Avenue. Line 169 runs weekdays on Saticoy Street, Valley Circle Boulevard, and Mulholland Drive between the Burbank Airport and the Warner Center Transit Hub, serving the West Hills Medical Center. Operated by the SFV-8 division.

Line 175 runs weekday rush hours between Silverlake and Hollywood via Sunset Boulevard and Hyperion Avenue. It serves the Sunset station. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

176 - Mission Road - Tyler Avenue - Rush Street[edit]

Line 176 runs weekdays between The Shops at Montebello and Highland Park through Mission Road, Tyler Avenue and Rush Street. It serves the El Monte Station. Previously, the line traveled to Glassell Park through Division Street, El Paso Drive, Avenue 50 and Figueroa Street, but that service was eliminated. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

177 - I-210 - California Boulevard[edit]

Line 177 operates weekdays rush hours in the peak direction (westbound in the AM, eastbound in the PM) and runs between JPL and Pasadena City College through Interstate 210 and California Boulevard. Previously this route served the Glendale Galleria and ran through Foothill Blvd, Verdugo Road, Glendale Avenue, and Broadway. That service was cancelled and it is currently served by the Glendale Beeline line 3. Operated by Southland Transit.

180 - Hollywood Boulevard - Colorado Boulevard - North Lake Avenue[edit]

Line 180 provides service between the Vine Station and Altadena. It runs on Hollywood Boulevard, Los Feliz Boulevard, Central Avenue (Glendale), Broadway (Glendale), Colorado Boulevard and Lake Avenue. It runs alongside Line 181 between Figueroa Street and Lake Avenue and between Eagle Rock Boulevard and Vine Station and Line 780 between Lake Avenue and Vine Station. Owl service terminates at Colorado Boulevard and Lake Avenue. A late night shuttle is provided on Lake Avenue between Altadena Drive and Colorado Boulevard. On weekends it is shortend to Colorado Blvd and Figueroa St. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

Metro Express line 485 provides service on South Lake Avenue.

181 - Hollywood Boulevard - Colorado Boulevard[edit]

Line 181 runs between the Vine and Sierra Madre Villa stations, running mainly on Hollywood Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard. It runs alongside Lines 180 and 780 between Figueroa Street and Lake Avenue and between Eagle Rock Boulevard and Vine Station. It also runs on Yosemite Drive in Eagle Rock, between Eagle Rock Boulevard and Figueroa Street. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

Prior to 2003, Line 181 terminated at Pasadena City College. Following the opening of the Metro Gold Line, Line 181 extended along Colorado Boulevard to the Sierra Madre Villa Station.

Service east of the Sierra Madre Villa Station is provided by Foothill Transit Line 187.

183 - Magnolia Boulevard[edit]

Line 183 runs daily, running primarily on Magnolia Boulevard and starts at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Weekday trips terminate at the Glendale Amtrak Station, and weekday shortlines and weekend service in Downtown Burbank. It also serves the North Hollywood Station. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

Line 201 runs between the Glendale Adventist Medical Center and the Wilshire/Vermont Station, running primarily on Silverlake Boulevard. Between Atwater Village and Glendale the line runs on Brunswick Avenue, Pacific Avenue, Broadway, and Chevy Chase Drive. Some weekday trips run to Glenoaks Canyon. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

202 - Willowbrook Avenue - Alameda Street[edit]

Line 202 operates weekday rush hours between the Rosa Parks Station and Wilmington via Willowbrook Avenue and Alameda Street. In addition to the Willowbrook Station, it serves the Compton, Artesia, and Del Amo stations of the Blue Line. Owl service operates 7 days a week, and it is interlined with Line 55 and runs between Downtown LA and Compton Station. Operated by the GC-2 (at night) and SB-18 (during the day) divisions.

204 - Vermont Avenue[edit]

Line 204 runs along Vermont Avenue from Los Feliz (Vermont Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard) via Mid-Wilshire, USC, Exposition Park, South LA, Vermont Green Line Station, to Vermont/120th Street. 60-foot NABI articulated buses are used on this route. This line runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 754 and operates 24 hours a day. The route operates every 15 minutes or better for its entire length in the daytime. Operated by the SB-5 and SB-18 divisions.

205 - Western Avenue - Vermont Avenue - Wilmington Avenue[edit]

Line 205 runs between San Pedro and Rosa Parks Station via Western Avenue, Vermont Avenue, and Wilmington Avenue. In addition to the Rosa Parks Station, it also serves the Artesia Blue Line Station and the Harbor Gateway Transit Center. Operated by MV Transportation.

206 - Normandie Avenue[edit]

Line 206 starts at Sunset Station and runs mainly on Normandie Avenue via Mid-Wilshire, Koreatown, South LA to Athens/Vermont Green Line Station with the next and final stop at Vermont/120th Street. Some buses end at 54th Street during the afternoon rush hour but closer to the end of rush hour, some buses end at Manchester Avenue. Operated by the SB-5 and SGV-3 divisions.

207 - Western Avenue[edit]

Line 207 runs down Western Avenue between the Western Red Line Station and Los Angeles Southwest College. Despite not being on the timetables, some buses during rush hour end at the Vine Station. 60-foot NABI articulated buses are used on this route. It runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 757 and operates 24/7. Some trips are extended to Crenshaw Station. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between. Operated by the SB-5 and SB-18 divisions.

209 - Arlington Avenue - Van Ness Avenue[edit]

Line 209 runs weekdays between the Western Purple Line and Vermont Green Line stations via Arlington and Van Ness Avenues. Operated by the SB-5 division.

210 - Crenshaw Boulevard - Rossmore Avenue - Vine Street[edit]

Line 210 runs mainly on Crenshaw Boulevard, Rossmore Avenue, and Vine Street between the Vine Red Line Station and the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach, while passing through Hancock Park, Leimert Park and El Camino College. It operates alongside Metro Rapid line 710 south of Wilshire Boulevard. Operated by the SB-18 division.

Service south of Artesia Boulevard is served by Torrance Transit line 10.

211 - Prairie Avenue[edit]

Line 211 runs weekday rush hours on Prairie Avenue between the South Bay Galleria and Inglewood. Most trips are interlined with Line 215 and originate from, or continue to, Marine/Redondo Station. Operated by the SB-18 division.

212/312 - La Brea Avenue[edit]

Line 212 runs primarily on La Brea Avenue between the Vine and Hawthorne stations. Northbound shortlines terminate at Highland Station and southbound shortlines in Lennox. Line 312 operates weekday rush hours in the peak direction (northbound in the AM, southbound in the PM) and makes limited stops between Sunset Boulevard and Rodeo Road. Between Manchester Boulevard and Lennox Boulevard, the lines run on Prairie Avenue while lines 40 and 740 run on La Brea Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard between those streets. The route operates every 15 minutes or better between Hollywood/Highland and the Inglewood Transit Center. It had one time ran all the way to Burbank through Barham Boulevard and Hollywood Way, but was replaced by an extension of Line 163 and later new Line 222. Operated by the SB-5 division.

215 - Inglewood Avenue[edit]

Line 215 runs weekday rush hours on Inglewood Avenue between Inglewood and the Redondo Beach Station. Most trips are interlined with Line 211, originating from, or continuing to, the South Bay Galleria. Operated by the SB-18 division.

This line formerly ran to Redondo Beach Pier. The portion between Redondo Beach Station and Redondo Beach Pier was replaced by Beach Cities Transit line 102.

217 - Fairfax Avenue - Hollywood Boulevard[edit]

Line 217 operates between Howard Hughes Center and Vine Station via Fairfax Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. It operates alongside Metro Rapid Line 780. This line provides owl service to Downtown LA, and owl service trips are interlined with Line 2 (via Sunset Boulevard), serving the Sunset Station. Weekend trips and weekday shortlines terminate at the La Cienega Expo Line Station. Operated by the WSC-7 division.

218 - Laurel Canyon Boulevard[edit]

Line 218 runs primarily on Laurel Canyon Boulevard between Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Studio City. Operated by Transdev.

220 - Robertson Boulevard[edit]

Line 220 runs weekdays between the Beverly Center and Culver/Venice on Robertson Boulevard. Operated by the WSC-7 division.

This line used to run to LAX and serve Fisherman's Village and Playa Del Rey, the Culver Boulevard portion was replaced by Culver City Transit Line 7.

222 - Sunland Boulevard - Hollywood Way - Barham Boulevard[edit]

Line 222, split from Line 212 in June 1995 and later Line 163 in June 2008, runs along Sunland Boulevard, Hollywood Way and Barham Boulevard between Sunland and the Highland Station. Some early morning and late evening trips are interlined with Line 163, which continues west to, or originates from, the West Hills Medical Center at San Fernando Road. 224 - San Fernando Road - Lankershim Boulevard[edit]

Line 224, split from Lines 94 (on San Fernando Road) and 166 (on Lankershim Boulevard) in December 2006, provides service between Olive View Medical Center and the Universal City Station via San Fernando Road and Lankershim Boulevard. Some trips run from Sylmar Metrolink Station or Lankershim/San Fernando to the North Hollywood Station. It has run alongside Metro Rapid Line 794 since June 2009. Some early morning and late night trips are interlined with Line 94, continuing to, or originate from, Downtown LA. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

230 - Laurel Canyon Boulevard - Hubbard Street[edit]

Line 230 runs primarily on Laurel Canyon Boulevard between Studio City and the Sylmar Metrolink Station. Weekday service is extended to Los Angeles Mission College on Hubbard Street. Operated by the SFV-15 division.

232 - Sepulveda Boulevard - Pacific Coast Highway - Anaheim Street[edit]

Line 232 operates along Sepulveda Boulevard, which would later become Pacific Coast Highway, and Anaheim Street, running from the LAX City Bus Center to the Long Beach Transit Mall. Some trips terminate at Pacific Coast Highway and Hawthorne Boulevard. It serves the Mariposa/Nash and the Anaheim Street stations on the Green and Blue Lines, respectively. This line formerly ran to West Hills Medical Center on Mulholland Drive and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, but since replaced by the new Line 645, later by 169.

246 - Avalon Boulevard - Pacific Avenue[edit]

Line 246, formerly Line 446 until December 2009, runs between the Artesia Transit Center and Point Fermin on Avalon Boulevard and Pacific Avenue. Owl service terminates at 21st Street. Operated by the SB-18 division.

251 - Avenue 26 - Daly Street - Soto Street[edit]

Line 251 operates between Cypress Park and the Long Beach Green Line Station, running along Avenue 26, Daly Street, Marengo Street, and Soto Street through Cypress Park, Lincoln Heights, Boyle Heights, Vernon, Huntington Park, South Gate and Lynwood. Southbound shortline trips terminate at Palm Avenue and Seville Avenue in South Gate. Northbound shortline trips end at the USC Medical Center Station. It runs alongside Line 252 between Marengo Street and Olympic Boulevard and Metro Rapid Line 751 for most of its route. Late Night Owl trips end at Daly/Broadway. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

252 - Soto Street - Mercury Avenue - Griffin Avenue[edit]

Line 252 operates between Boyle Heights and Montecito Heights on Soto Street, Mercury Avenue, and Griffin Avenue. Trips on weekends are shortened to Lincoln Heights. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

254 - Lorena Street - Boyle Avenue[edit]

Line 254 operates weekdays and Saturdays between East LA and the 103rd Street Station on Lorena Street and Boyle Avenue. Formerly, its termini were at the LAC+USC Medical Center Busway Station and the Willowbrook station, but these were eliminated (the northern section is now served by the El Sereno-City Terrace DASH). 256 - Eastern Avenue - Avenue 64 - Colorado Boulevard - Hill Avenue[edit]

Line 256 runs primarily on Hill Avenue, Colorado Boulevard, Avenue 64 and Eastern Avenue between Altadena and Commerce. Operated by Southland Transit.

258 - Fremont Avenue - Eastern Avenue[edit]

Line 258 operates weekdays on Fremont Avenue and Eastern Avenue between Alhambra and Paramount. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

260 - Atlantic Boulevard - Fair Oaks Avenue[edit]

Line 260 operates from Fair Oaks Avenue and Loma Alta Drive (Altadena) and runs through Pasadena, South Pasadena, Alhambra, Monterey Park, East Los Angeles, Commerce, Maywood, Bell, Cudahy, South Gate, Lynwood, and North Long Beach on way to the Artesia Blue Line Station while running on Fair Oaks Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard. Some northbound buses terminate at Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, and the rest terminate at Fair Oaks Avenue and Loma Alta Drive. Southbound buses may terminate at Imperial Highway or Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Lynwood. It runs alongside Metro Rapid Line 762. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

Prior to June 2003, Line 260 operated along Los Robles Avenue through San Marino, Pasadena, and Altadena. Due to low ridership on Los Robles Avenue south of Del Mar Boulevard, Line 260 was adjusted to operate onto Fair Oaks Avenue, replacing Line 483.

Long Beach Transit lines 61 provides service on Atlantic Avenue south of Artesia Boulevard.

264 - Altadena Drive - Michillinda Avenue - Duarte Road[edit]

Line 264 operates daily between City of Hope and Altadena, primarily on Duarte Road, Michillinda Avenue and Altadena Drive, servicing Westfield Santa Anita. It is interlined with Line 267, continuing to, or originating from, El Monte Station. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

Line 302 runs alongside Line 2 from Elysian Park to Sunset & P.C.H. (Pacific Coast Highway). It connects with Line 217 owl to Washington/ Fairfax Hub. This line operates during the early morning rush hour and early evening rush hours. Line 302 runs on weekdays only. Line 302 has limited stops between (Beverly Boulevard & Alvarado Boulevard). Operated by the WSC-6, 7, and 10 divisions

344 - Artesia Boulevard - Hawthorne Boulevard[edit]

Line 344, formerly Line 444 until December 2009, runs between the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and Rancho Palos Verdes through Artesia Boulevard and Hawthorne Boulevard. It makes limited stops on Artesia Boulevard between the Harbor Gateway Transit Center and the South Bay Galleria and on Hawthorne Boulevard between Artesia Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway to favor more service with Line 130 (which provides local service on Artesia Boulevard) and Torrance Transit Line 8 (which provides local service on Hawthorne Boulevard between Artesia Boulevard and PCH). 603 - Hoover Street - Rampart Boulevard - San Fernando Road[edit]

Line 603 runs between the Glendale Galleria and the Grand Blue Line Station through San Fernando Road, Rampart Boulevard, and Hoover Street. It also serves the Westlake/MacArthur Park and 23rd Street stations. Operated by Transdev.

605 - Grande Vista Avenue - Lorena Street - Soto Street[edit]

Line 605 runs between LAC+USC Medical Center and Olympic/Grande Vista through Marengo Avenue, Soto Street, 4th Street, Lorena Street, 8th Street, and Grande Vista Avenue. Operated by Southland Transit.

607 - Inglewood - Windsor Hills - Inglewood[edit]

Line 607 runs in a clockwise circular route and operates weekday rush hours between Inglewood Transit Center and Windsor Hills. Operated by MV Transportation.

611 - Huntington Park Shuttle[edit]

Line 611 runs daily in a circular route between Vernon Blue Line Station and Cudahy. It also serves the Florence Blue Line Station. Operated by the GC-2 division.

620 - Cesar Chavez Avenue - State Street[edit]

Line 620 runs weekdays in a counterclockwise circular round trip, starting at LAC+USC Medical Center, then running through State Street, 1st Street, Boyle Avenue, Whittier Boulevard, Soto Street, 4th Street, Indiana Street, back on 1st Street, Evergreen Avenue, Wabash Avenue, Forest Avenue, Cesar Chavez Avenue, and then back on State Street, back to LAC-USC. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

625 - Imperial Highway[edit]

Line 625 operates weekday rush hours, and it starts at Aviation Station and runs through Imperial Highway and Pershing Drive to the World Way West Terminals. Some trips are extended to the Superior Court House. Operated by MV Transportation.

665 - Cal State LA - City Terrace Shuttle[edit]

Line 665, formerly Line 65, runs daily via Indiana Street, Gage Avenue, and City Terrace Drive, starting at CSULA and runs to East Los Angeles during off-peak trips. Weekday peak trips run to Boyle Heights. Operated by the SGV-9 division.

685 - Verdugo Road[edit]

Line 685, formerly Line 85, runs weekdays between Glassell Park and GCC through Verdugo Road. Operated by the SGV-3 division.

686 - Colorado Boulevard - North Allen Avenue[edit]

Line 686 starts at the Fillmore Station and runs through Colorado Boulevard and Allen Avenue to New York/Allen in Altadena. Operated by the SGV-9 division.
