There are many different tools available to embed charts, dashboards and reports into software applications - these are typically referred to as 'embedded analytics' or 'embedded BI' tools[1].
Embedded analytics enables software providers to deliver additional value, or communicate their value to customers in order to gain a competitive advantage[2][3][4]. A 2024 Dresner Advisory Services report found that 49% of software businesses currently use and 86% consider embedded BI critical/very important[5][6]. The embedded analytics market is projected to grow from USD 22.93 billion in 2025 to USD 74.98 billion by 2032[7], though multiple reports project that this is much higher, which enables it to support many different solutions[8][9].
