List of law enforcement agencies in Georgia
This is a list of law enforcement agencies in Georgia.
According to the US Bureau of Justice Statistics' 2008 " Census of State and Local law Enforcement Agencies," the state had 268 law enforcement employing about 26,551sworn police officers, about 274 for each 100,000 residents.[1]
Georgia also host the FLETC, which serves as the primary training facility for numerous federal law enforcement agencies.

Executive Security
The Executive Security Unit consists of two sections, the Special Services Section and the Dignitary Protection Section.
Special Services Section
The Special Services Section provides facility security services for the Governor's Mansion and provides personal security for the residents.
Dignitary Protection Section
The Dignitary Protection Section unit provides continual security for the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Speaker of the House and their families.
