The following is a list of maritime science fiction media. Maritime science fiction is a subgenre of science fiction that is considered to have first appeared with the classic French language novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.[1]

- Jules Verne's 1870 novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea has later been retold many ways in various media.
Television[edit]
The earliest television media productions of maritime science fiction is Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. In 1997 there was a television film called 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.[2]
