It wasn't until 1977 the first Ladies only poker event was introduced by WSOP and it came in the form of a $100 buy-in Stud Poker Tournament Since then the doors truly opened up for female poker players who wanted to participate in poker tournaments. Below are the top female poker players from around the world. The list is simply an estimation of the top earning female poker players, based on prize winnings.[1]
