This is a list of armed conflicts involving San Marino
Fabiano di Monte San Savino's conquering attempt
in June of 1543, the nephew of Pope Julius III attempted to conquer San Marino using an army of 500 men. However the army got lost in the fog.
Because this happened on the Quirinus of Sescia's feast, the feast in still celebrated in San Marino annually.
Battle of San Marino
During World war 2, on September the 17th, Nazi Germany and Italian Social Republic occupied san Marino. With help from The United Kingdom, San Marino retook its territory.
