LitCharts is a literature study guide website created in 2008 by cofounders Ben Florman and Justin Kestler, who were also the original editors of SparkNotes, a literature study guide website owned by Barnes & Noble. [1] The LitCharts website contains guides to fiction and nonfiction literary works, poetry, and literary devices, as well modern English translations of Shakespeare's plays and poems.

LitCharts was acquired by Course Hero in June 2021.[1]
