LitdriveUK is an associate subject association and registered charity, providing a network and subject-specific professional development for English teachers and tutors in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 2017 by Kat Howard alongside a team of English teaachers who formed part of the #TeamEnglish online community, initially setting up a shared member-sharing space for classroom resources and a mentoring programme. In 2019, Litdrive developed a team of Litdrive Advocates who ran a series of regional events for English teachers to share subject knowledge and subject-specific pedagogical strategies. In 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown period, Litdrive delivered regularly online professional development to thousands of English teachers.
