Lithium Battery (Band)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Lithium Battery is an American Experimental Rock/Indie band formed on July 20th, 2022.[1] This is the third iteration of the band after undergoing two previous projects. The lineup of members over the years has changed along with the project names. As of January 16th, 2023, there are four known members of Lithium Battery who are heard on songs and credited. The group was also founded online rather than in one particular town or city[2]. They are currently signed to Jim Records which is a Pakistan-based record label.[3]

History

BOGOS OFFICIAL

Previous to Lithium Battery, BOGOS OFFICIAL was the group's first project founded in 2021. They released three albums under BOGOS before a falling out with one of the core band members and dissolving as a result.

Quicksand Fetishism

As a follow-up to BOGOS, the remaining bandmates created the band 'Quicksand Fetishism' founded in early 2022. The name of the band is an inside joke of some kind, relating to a specific online person's Furaffinity account. However, this is just a common theory. There was no music released under Quicksand Fetishism, and the project was short-lived.

Lithium Battery

After that, on July 20th, 2022, the group changed their name to Lithium Battery, which is now what they go by today. Lithium Battery has seen one member leave since its creation; Universe004 was kicked out of the band before the release of their sophomore album "Cunt.".

Musical Style/Influences

Members of Lithium Battery have come out and said themselves to be big fans of the Seattle Grunge scene, more specifically the band Nirvana. They also enjoy bands like TOOL and Paramore. Like Nirvana and TOOL, the band strives for experimentation, something that will hook listeners with something they have never heard before. Fans also consider their music just plain "noise" sometimes, this is due to not being able to fully understand what is happening from time to time. The band uses a wide range of instruments, including both electric and acoustic guitar, keyboard, synthesizer, drums, bass, and many vocals and vocal effects.
