Lithromantic
Lithromantic
Lithromantic is a newly emerged sexual orientation, which generally refers to the experience of developing strong feelings for someone, only to find those feelings abhorrent and to dislike the subject of affection after realizing that the feelings are reciprocated.
Lithromantic people may be attracted to either the opposite or the same gender and may desire a romantic relationship, which, however, will not develop in real life. This group of people do not necessarily require or want to develop a romantic relationship with their secret crushes. Some might even cease loving the subjects of their affection when those feelings are reciprocated.
A portion of the lithromantic community would resist having a relationship in reality. Conversely, they appear to be fascinated by subjects who are unresponsive or unfeeling toward them, rather than those who express love and affection.
The sexual orientation of lithromantic people is not confined to heterosexuality; they may be homosexual or have other atypical orientations.[1]
