History and contributions[edit]

Ms. Jackie created the high quality multi-lingual learning environment that she was sought for her own children.[5] LLIP draws its students from a thirty mile radius in the metro Atlanta. It has two campuses - the Main Campus in East Point (o-12 year old) and Little Linguists International Preschool Decatur, GA Campus(0–12 years old).[1] Through the founding of LLIP, Ms. Ubiles inspired of several language immersion preschools models in the Metro Atlanta area that aimed to promote high-quality learning environment and language acquisition. In 2009, Ms. Ubiles and colleagues embarked on creating the first charter option that would offer dual language immersion, The GLOBE Academy. The GLOBE Academy received a five year charter July 2013.[6] [7]

Academics[edit]

Little Linguists International Preschool implements the Creative Curriculum, a play-based approach to inquiry learning.

Farm to school[edit]

Students at LLIP have access to gardens where the children play, learn and grow edible plants in large garden beds. The older students have a recycled urban garden made of over 50 tires.
