Little Stranger (band)
Little Stranger is a funky hip hop duo originally from Philadelphia, PA but are now based out of Charleston, SC. The band consists of best friends John Shields and Kevin Shields, who are not related, but met in school when asked to sit in alphabetical order. Both were involved with other musical groups throughout their lifetime, but after attending the College of Charleston, John asked Kevin if he would move to Charleston to start this new project. Since the release of their first single, Rosewater, in 2015 Little Stranger has become a household name among hip hop and reggae fans alike all across the United States.
Besides touring the entire country, Kevin and John were listed jointly on Charleston indie blog's "17 People to Watch in 2017" and were awarded the Charleston City Paper's "Hip Hop Act of the Year" in 2016 and 2017. (http://littlestrangermusic.com/)
