Lizzie Glitheroe West

Lizzie Glithero-West is a specialist in archaeology, heritage protection and museums and, since 2016, is the CEO and chief of the Heritage Alliance[1].
Education:
Glithero-West has an MA from the University of Oxford in Archaeology and Anthropology[2], as well as an MA in History of Art from Birkbeck[2] where she specialised in Egyptian Revival in the Georgian and Art Deco Periods[1].
Career
Following her undergraduate degree, Glithero-West worked in a range of roles for the DCMS between 2003 and 2016[2]. From 2016 she has been the CEO and chief of the Heritage Alliance[1].
In 2014, she was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.[3]
West has published on Belzoni and the Egyptian Hall[4] and on Cartier's Egyptian Revival jewellery in the Art Deco period[5]. She is also a member of the Royal Holloway's humanities advisory board, and lectures at Oxford University on heritage[2].
