Security[edit]
Locker implements AES-256 encryption and end-to-end encryption to encrypt the data of users. The Master Password acts as the key to unlock the vault and decrypt the data.
Locker is built with zero-knowledge architecture, which means passwords are encrypted on the devices of users before being transferred to the cloud[6].
History[edit]
The development of Locker dated back to June, 2021, when CyStack conducted market research for building a password management solution.
Locker made its debut in the password manager market in April, 2022, with an initial release of the beta version[7].
In May, 2022, Locker announced its bug bounty program on the WhiteHub platform. The program was open to the public, and all researchers could participate to find vulnerabilities[8].
In June, 2022, Locker was officially launched as a standalone password manager for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android. The browser extensions for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Brave were released at the same time[9].
