LogiGear Corporation is a privately-held information technology company that provides services for software testing.[1] LogiGear has 3 branches of services: test automation services, training and consulting, and software development. LogiGear has its own proprietary test automation tool,[2] TestArchitect. The company is based in Foster City, CA in the greater San Francisco bay area. LogiGear was founded in 1994.

History and Founding[edit]

LogiGear Corporation was founded by Hung Nguyen and Michael Hackett in 1994.[3] In 2004, LogiGear opened its first overseas test center in Vietnam. In 2017, LogiGear acquired True North Service, Inc., a U.S. company headquartered out of Seattle, Washington.[4]

Company Organization[edit]

LogiGear is based in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, and has US offices in Washington and Texas. LogiGear also has offices in Vietnam.[5] LogiGear’s current CEO is Hung Nguyen. LogiGear’s current CTO is Hans Buwalda, who also pioneered the Action Based Testing Method.[6]

Products[edit]

LogiGear offers one product for software testing, TestArchitect, which can be used for automated testing for functional testing.[7]
