Logic Quest 3D is a video game published in 1996 by The Learning Company. It is recommended for ages 8 to 14. The intended purpose of this educational computer game is to build thinking and problem solving skills.

Gameplay[edit]

The game consists of 12 levels. Winning the game unlocks a level designer for users to create their own levels.[citation needed]

Release[edit]

The first version of the game was released in 1996 by The Learning Company and Softkey Multimedia Inc.[1]

Commercial performance[edit]

The game was the second best selling education title in the week ending March 8, 1997, after Math Blaster [2]

Critical reception[edit]

Professor of video games Robert Yang gave the game a negative review, despite noting that it had "forward-thinking educational intentions".[3][unreliable source?]
