LoginRadius, Inc. is a software company known for its cloud-based customer identity access management platform.[2] It was founded in 2012 by Deepak Gupta and Rakesh Soni, and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.[3][4]

History[edit]

The company’s founders, Deepak Gupta and Rakesh Soni, met in high school before moving to North America and deciding to start a company together.[4]In 2012, they made an SaaS model out of their shared use of multiple APIs and founded LoginRadius.[4] The LoginRadius was initially offered as a social login application.[5]

In 2019, LoginRadius moved its headquarters to Vancouver after being previously headquartered in Edmonton.[4][6] LoginRadius also joined the global think tank Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) in 2019.[7]  In addition to its headquarters in Vancouver, LoginRadius also has offices in Toronto, San Francisco, London, Sydney, Jaipur, and Hyderabad.[6][8][7]

LoginRadius was initially offered as a social login provider, but now functions as a cloud-based cIAM platform.[9][10] The platform was built using RESTful APIs and open sourced SDK libraries.[9] LoginRadius gives users access to features such as unified user profiles, consent management, risk-based authentication, social logins, and auto-scalable architecture.[11] It has 200 pre-built integrations with pre-existing tools.[3] LoginRadius user plans start at 100,000 users, but the platform offers separate plans with different features and different base charges.[12]

In 2019, LoginRadius was selected by BritBox to power its managed identity platform.[17]

LoginRadius launched its Identity Import Manager, a tool for automated data migration, in July 2020.[13] The tool allows users to import customer profile data from different applications, services, or databases using CSV files.[13]

In 2021, LoginRadius launched an app-based Mobile Biometric Authentication feature for its platform, which included support for TouchID and FaceID authentication options.[14]

In 2022, LoginRadius began offering Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Authorization.[15]

LoginRadius began offering a CLI (command-line interface) through its platform in 2023.[16]
