London Brookes College is an Independent Sixth Form College[1] located in Hendon, London, England. London Brookes College was founded in 2001 under the name of Learning Arena. It became London Brookes College in 2008. The College offers full time A-level and GCSE courses. The college is coeducational. The students are currently all British nationals however international students are also able to enrol [2].

The College also offers Tuition classes for 11+, GCSE, AS level and A level exam preparation.

London Brookes College is also a Private Examination [3] [4] accredited by AQA [5], Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR) [6], Cambridge Assessment International Education [7], Edexcel [8], WJEC (exam board) [9] exam boards.

London Brookes College is inspected by Independent Schools Inspectorate ISI and is rated good[10]

Sixth Form Courses[edit]

Most students take two-year A Level courses, but there is also a number of GCSE students. One year intensive full time courses are also available.[1]

Private Exam Centre[edit]

London Brookes College is an accredited private exam college for AQA [11], Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR) [6], Edexcel[8], WJEC (exam board) [9] and Cambridge Assessment International Education [7] boards. Students sit exams in November, January and June. A private candidate is someone who enters for exams through an exam board approved school or college but is not enrolled as a student there. You may be self-taught, home-schooled [12] or have private tuition with a tutor or through a distance learning provider [13].

Tuition Classes[edit]

London Brookes College run tutorial programmes [14] for students wishing to receive a supplement to their school teaching throughout the year and focused revision during the examination period. The classes are run on weekends and after-school. Tutorial classes are aimed at 7-18 year olds focused on the core subjects of Mathematics, English and Science for Key Stage 2, 3, GCSE & A Level as well as students wishing to prepare for 11+.

English Classes[edit]

London Brookes College is also able to offer evening and weekend English classes for any student wishing to learn English as a second or foreign language (ESOL) [15]

Fees and scholarships[edit]

The fees for a full time 2 year A level course for 2018-19 is £9,850 per year for UK students. London Brookes College offers a limited number of scholarships and bursaries.
