Jordyn’s father has moved his family from old Earth to James’ quadrant. Jordyn is not happy about the move. She misses her life back on Earth. She begins to question everything her new teacher is presenting as a fact. Elizabeth thinks she can solve the issues with Jordyn by giving her a look at some other colonies. The plan is only partially successful.
