Plot

Looch is a film about a successful African-American talent manager, Rodney "Looch" Williams, who is looking to make a huge leap to starting his own TV network. With the odds against him and the pressures of love, friendships, and money, how will Looch reach his goals without losing everything?

The film opens with Looch's close friend, Nick "The Champ" Carter, retiring from the boxing world. Looch was his manager, and Donte Armstrong, also close friends with Looch, was Nick's promoter. The team of three, having seen the highs and lows of the business, ends on a high note of success. Looch plans his next move after Nick retires: to do the impossible—starting up a TV network. The goal is for himself and business partners and close friends Nick and Donte Armstrong to build and plan to start this TV network. The motivation behind starting the TV network comes from Looch's vision to push the culture forward in a positive manner. Since Looch has been in the entertainment industry for so long, he feels this could build a foundation to help motivate and spark the minds of the younger and passionate generation of entertainment and art. Looch prepares himself to take on Vicom, the global king of mass media, who approves who starts a TV network and what content gets aired. Along his journey to starting the network, Looch deals with discovering he has a child from a one-night stand with an old business associate named Jade. Looch also deals with things and people from his past resurfacing. An old childhood friend turned foe, Kilo, who is said to be the street kingpin of Atlanta, watches the legitimate success of Looch and decides to throw a wrench in his plans. Kilo makes a point to cause chaos and become a distraction to Looch and his team. Will he show the growth of a man, or will he fail from a lack of good decision-making?
