[1]"Look What You've Done" is a song by Swedish singer Zara Larsson, released through Epic Records and TEN Music Group on 22 February 2021 as the only promotional single from Larsson's third studio album Poster Girl. It was co-written by its producer Steve Mac, as well as Ammar Malik, Kamille, Max Wolfgang and Larsson herself.[2] It's has been described as a Disco-styled song.[3]
Background[edit]
Larsson released the song as a surprise on 22 February 2021.[4] She described the song like this, "I love this song so much. I wanted to write about heartbreak, but in a way that was also empowering and positive. In my world being vulnerable is being strong, but on this one I’m saying ‘just LOOK at what you’ve done – I’m shining! You look like a piece of shit! It was important for me to have a song like this on Poster Girl." [5]
Live performances[edit]
Larsson performed the song live for the first time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on 5 March 2021, the same day her album Poster Girl was released.[6]
