History
Loopsie S.R.L. is a Milan based mobile app company founded in 2018 by Angelo Gallarello, Giacomo Locci, and Edoardo Longo.
On March 2018, Loopsie released the first version of the product on the Google Play and Apple App Store, featuring a custom video stabilization algorithm that enabled the creation of cinemagraphs directly on mobile without any additional equipment. Still in 2018 Loopsie was also selected by Apple to participate in the App Store Foundation Program.[1] In 2019 Loopsie released the second biggest update, featuring long exposure and light trails filters. In 2020 Loopsie implemented a custom neural network based algorithm for depth estimation that enabled the creation of stereoscopic photos directly from a single photo.
In April 2020, Loopsie was selected by Talent Garden Innovation School as a partner in the context of a business case challenge for the students of the Master in Digital Strategy LUISS University.[2]
On November 2020 Loopsie was also selected by Google to take part in a 12 weeks mentorship and advisory program.[3]
Loopsie
Loopsie is currently available for iOS and Android devices. It features weekly updates with original photographic presets that rely on neural networks and proprietary technology.
Loopsie operates under a freemium model based on a subscription that unlocks premium content and features.
