Lori Ann LaRocco is an American television journalist and author.[1]

Career[edit]

LaRocco is a Senior Talent Producer on the CNBC financial news program Squawk Box. She previously worked as producer for Maria Bartiromo's Market Week.

LaRocco is also a columnist at CNBC.com.[2]

She is also the author of "Dynasties of the Sea: The Ships and Entrepreneurs Who Expanded the Era of Free Trade" (Marine Money 2012) and Thriving in the New Economy: Lessons from Today's Top Business Minds (Wiley 2010).

Her opinion pieces on leadership and banking regulation have been featured in the washingtonpost.com, ForbesWoman, The Daily Caller, and Newsday.

Personal life[edit]

LaRocco graduated a year early from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1992 with a double major (BA) in Mass Media Communications and Broadcast Journalism. She was awarded "Distinguished Visiting Alumnus" in April 2010. LaRocco is also a founding sister of the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau.

LaRocco grew up in Holbrook, New York. and is a graduate of Sachem High School. A resident of West Milford, New Jersey, she is married to Michael Wallace, morning co-anchor of WCBS Newsradio 880 in New York, and is a mother of three children.
