Lori Lejeune is an American artist, currently based in metro Atlanta, who creates mixed media and wall installation artwork that often incorporates the use of digital tools.[1]
Early in her career in 1996, she was selected to participate in the Serie Print Project[2] founded by the late artist Sam Coronado in Austin, Texas.[3] Her work is represented in the permanent collections of museums and institutions such as MexicArte Museum, Austin[4], Fulton County, Georgia[5] and the University of Texas at San Antonio Libraries Special Collection.[6]
After moving to Atlanta, Lejeune was named one of Atlanta's 50 most creative people[7] by Common Creativ. Her work has also been covered in other publications.[8][9]
Artwork from her mixed media Flight series, depicting birds and other creatures with wings that overcome gravity through flight, was purchased for the Fulton County Public Art Program in 2019.[10]
In 2020, her constellation-style wall installation, “RISE UP,” was selected for the ArtFields competition in South Carolina,[11] which recognizes artists of the Southeast.[12]
