Lori Weintraub

Lori Weintraub was born April 11, 1965 in New York. She graduated with an English degree from Barnard College, and a JD from UCLA School of Law. Weintraub started her career as an entertainment attorney at Manatt Phelps, and served as studio executive supervising the development and production of many films including Beverly Hills Cop (1984), The Color Purple (1985), Top Gun (1986) and Batman (1989).

Under the umbrella of the Warner Music Group she founded and served as president of A Vision Entertainment, Warner Kids, and Time Warner Audiobooks[1]. She subsequently served as Executive Vice-President of Vivendi Universal internet ventures[2]. She is the daughter of model Marge Grady and Sy Weintraub, producer of numerous Tarzan movies, one time owner of Panavision, and Chairman of the executive committee of Columbia Pictures[3]. She was married to actor Miguel Ferrer, who passed away from cancer in 2017. She has two sons and two step-sons.
