Lorilei Guillory
Lorilei Guillory is the mother of Jeremy Guillory, who was murdered in 1992 in Iowa, Louisiana. During the second trial of the man convicted of the crime, Ricky Langley, Guillory testified for the defendant, giving her opinion of whether he was mentally ill at the time of the offence.[1]
Her story was dramatised by Thomas Wright in the play Lorilei, staged at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005.[2]
