History
Dutch shoe designer Louis Leeman and Erica Pelosini met during their studies at the Polimoda school in Erica’s hometown of Florence, Italy. Louis found his passion for handcrafted shoemaking, working alongside Italian masters, while Erica, who worked for Vogue Japan as a research stylist, found her calling in fashion. Combining their talents and passions, they have created a line that caters to fashion-conscious men worldwide.
Erica Pelosini and Louis Leeman have also had the opportunity to collaborate with high fashion brands such as Roberto Cavalli and, since 2013, have been working with Cesare Casadei to develop his men’s collections.
Stores
The brand reached a milestone in June 2015 with the opening of its first flagship store in New York City, located at 793 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10065, United States. The flagship store, designed by David Collins Studio, evokes a vintage Parisian atelier with modern updates, complementing the style of the Louis Leeman brand.[2]
