Louis XX de Barraicua
Louis XX de Barraicua is a California politician who graduated the University of Southern California with a major English with an emphasis in Creative Writing, 1994. The son of U.S. Air Force doctor, Louis XX lived on Air Force bases in Texas, Alabama, California, and during his time in Madrid, Spain his family lived in the city of Madrid while he attended Torrejon American High School. Inspired by George Lucas, Louis XX majored in Creative Writing to learn the inner craft of storytelling. Teaching film, he learned the nuts and bolts of filmmaking. This time was an "incubation period" where he was able to teach and learn how to make films.
Louis XX first job out of college was an internship writing commercials for Nike with the advertising agency "Muse, Cordero, Chen". His interest in helping the homeless began shortly after working for a UCLA professor tracking homeless individuals for a long term study. After UCLA, he went to work at Nissan North America under the Market Strategy and Research Advanced Planning division that work directly with designers to design next generation products. It was at Nissan where Louis XX learned how to analyze and tell coherent stories with data.
Louis XX was inspired to get into politics when he realized modern politics was mostly disconnected from the people. Inspired by storytelling, he visualized himself stepping onto the stage of life as the politician Louis XX who would narrate his path to the LA Mayor position.
Louis XX is using the metaphor from the Wizard of Oz and the yellow brick road to add characters to his journey to reveal the wizard using theme of "transparency" to begin to solve Los Angeles homeless, small business and educational problems.
