Lu Cafaggi is a Brazilian comics artist.[1]
She started promoting her illustrations on the internet in 2009 and since then has worked mainly with independent material.[2][3]
In 2013, with her brother Vitor Cafaggi, she created the graphic novel Turma da Mônica – Laços , part of the Graphic MSP series, which reinterprets classic characters by Mauricio de Sousa.[4]
The graphic novel had two sequels and was adapted into a homonym movie.[5][6]
Awards[edit]
Cafaggi won the Troféu HQ Mix, the main Brazilian comic book award, as "Best New Talent" and "Best Writer".[7]
