Lucas Royalty (born February 19, 2010) is an American child actor and philanthropist best known for his work on Charming (2016) and 9-1-1 (TV series) (2022). He is also known throughout social media for his 12 months of giving campaign.

Career

After appearing in the award-winning film Charming (2016) as Gus, House of Darkness (2016) as Halloween Child, and Betrayed (2016) as Noah Orbin, Royalty landed his first spot as a host in Florida after he did a commercial for a company and was called up a few months later to make a special appearance in Orlando. He also landed a role as 6-year-old Alex in the 2018 Footprint Productions film Street ships. In the same year, he was cast as Teddy Jr in the 3-time award-winning short film Only a Movie. In April 2019, he appeared in another film by Tom Albanese, who was the director of his first film in 2016. In the 2019 Tom Albanese film A Purgatory Story he was cast as the gatekeeper and was the only child cast in the film. In May 2021, he appeared as Carson in the short film Countless Sheep and in August 2019 he played the role of Luke in Last Dream Before Sunrise. In October 2019, he gained notoriety when it was announced that he was cast in Mob Girl, starring Jennifer Lawrence. In 2021, he landed a role as Victor in the short film The Wishflower. Royalty's big breakthrough was his appearance as young Jonah in the 20th Century Fox Television series 9-1-1 (TV series) (2022). In May 2022, Royalty was cast as Jacob in the upcoming streaming film Proof (2022).

Personal life

Royalty skipped several grades and took AP classes in high school at age 11.

Philanthropy work

Lucas Royalty has spoken out against bullying on his social media and, as a victim of bullying, has raised awareness of the dangers of bullying and mental health. He is also associated with the Wagmore Dog Rescue, an organization dedicated to providing homes and health care for dogs. He has also been spotted at a homeless camp under Cahunga Blvd in Los Angeles – handing out blessing bags to the homeless. In September 2021, Lucas launched a 12-month fundraising challenge, choosing a new charity each month to raise funds and raise awareness. He has supported over 8 organizations by raising funds to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine via social media.
