Lucknow outer ring road

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The outer ring road is a 104 km road.

The estimated cost of the road is around Rs 5,500 crore. Earlier this month, the home minister had asked the Uttar Pradesh government to accelerate the pace of the project.

The ring road will connect Rae Bareli Road, Sultanpur Road and Kanpur Road and Lucknow-Agra Expressway on the outskirts of the city.

As per the plan, the road will have four big overbridges, 42 small overbridges, five railway overbridges, eight flyovers, 26 underpasses for vehicles, three underpasses for pedestrians, and two inter-change roads.

Outer Ring Road will start from Digoi village, next to Bakshi Ka Talab, from where it will connect Devanakshetra with the village Behata, touching the villages of Nindura in Barabanki, near Kursi Road. Simultaneously, this road will also touch the villages Jabrikhurd, Katalipurwa, Gosaingpurwa, Sarsoundhi, Moradabad, Muzaffarmau and Dumripurwa. After this, the Outer Ringroad will again enter the Lucknow border. The Outer Ring Road will emerge from the Goyal Heights Apartment near Indira Canal. Next to it, Indira will touch Canal's aqueduct.

API will pass through Ansal's Hitech Township on Sultanpur Road. Here the village will cut the ring road to Madharamau Kalan. Moving on the same alignment, Outer Ring Road will pass from Dawood Nagar, village of Nagaram.

Ring road will emerge from near village Kalli west of Rae Bareli road. From here, the next stop will be in the Lida area on Kanpur Road. Next the village of Mohan Road will be part of Fatehganj Outer Ring Road.

Then the village of Hardoi Road will touch Amethi Salempur Christian Highway. Further crossing the Gomti, the highway will find the village Kankarabad. Next to it, this road will again meet Bakshi's pond and form a complete ring. By which the entire Lucknow will be covered.
