Luis Eduardo Labori Hernández (born 28 November 1998), is a Venezuelan-Peruvian social media personality and humorist. He is known for his TikTok videos, for impersonating Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny at the Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru.[1][2][3]

Before his time in Lima, Labori was dedicated to creating content on social networks, mainly on TikTok and Instagram, where he has thousands of followers. In his posts, he is shown impersonating other popular artists and characters, including Canserbero, Dalex, and Bad Bunny, among others.

Labori posted a video on TikTok in which he showed himself with a similar hairstyle and outfit to the singer's, misleading many fans into mistaking him for the real Bad Bunny.[4][5][6] The news quickly went viral in the Peruvian media[7][8][9] and from other Spanish-speaking countries, which gave Labori great visibility.[10][11][12]

Early life

Luis Labori was born in Maracay, Aragua State, Venezuela.

Career

Before becoming famous for his social experiment of impersonating the artist Bad Bunny, Luis Labori was already an influencer with a certain presence on social networks. He started creating content online in 2020, especially on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. On these networks, Labori mainly posts comedy videos and parodies of other popular artists.[13][14] On his TikTok account, for example, he can be seen doing impressions of figures such as Daddy Yankee, Rosalía and Bad Bunny, among others. Other than his online work, little is known about Labori's career. However, it is clear that his presence on social networks has allowed him to connect with an ever-widening audience.

In November 2022, Luis Labori went viral on social media due to his resemblance to Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny. Labori was seen at the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru, wearing an outfit similar to the singer's and performing some dance moves to Bad Bunny's music.[15][16][17][18] Some passers-by thought it was the famous artist and gathered around him, causing a huge crowd.[19][20][21] The video of her impersonation quickly went viral on social media and was shared around the world.[22][23][24] Since then, Labori has been known as "Bad Bunny's double" and has gained a large following on social media. Although some have questioned his act for misleading people and being inauthentic, others have praised his ability to imitate his idol.
