Luka Talakhadze

Luka Talakhadze (née: Lukancho Talakhadze; born December 28, 2001, in Tbilisi, Georgia ) is a native Georgian film actor living in the United States.

Luka Talakhadze was born in 2002 as the eldest of three children of a civil engineer and a nurse in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. Due to economic conditions, the family left Georgia in 2010.

From the age of eight, Themo Talakhadze grew up with his sister and brother in Bruges, Belgium. As a child and as a teenager he was very active in sports, playing football and practicing taekwondo. At the age of about 13 he received the black belt. As a result, he took part in many national and international Taekwondo competitions, including the Flanders Cup and the BeNeLux Open.

As a teenager, Melikidze graduated from a sports-focused school in Bruges. Here he also came into contact with acting, since he also took part in the school theatre. That's why he applied to the renowned New York Film Academy after finishing school, where he completed his professional acting training in 2013. In 2014 he was in front of the camera for the first time in the short film The Adventures of Ano and Vano. In 2016 he changed his orientation.
