Lukas Gabric

Lukas Gabric (born 1987) is an Austrian tenor saxophonist, composer, musicologist and author.[1][2]
Early life and education
Gabric holds a PhD in musicology from City University of New York.[1][3]
Professional career
In 2013, Gabric was among the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition's semifinalists.[4]
Since 2018, he has been hosting the Carinthian International Jazz Award, which has drawn competitors from 40 nations.[5]
In 2024, Gabric released Moving On.[6][7]
Lukas Gabric is an associate professor at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China, and a Henri SELMER Paris and D'Addario Woodwinds artist.[2][8]
