Luke Wang
Luke Wang (born March 9, 2004) is an American pairs skater. He is the 2024 U.S. Junior national champion, the 2024 World Junior silver medalist, the 2023 JGP Austria silver medalist, and the 2023 JGP Turkey silver medalist with his pairs partner Olivia Flores.[1]

Personal life
Wang enjoys creative outlets such as videography, photography, playing the piano, and playing the cello in his free time. He has a sister, Anna, who also competes in figure skating in the women's singles discipline. He is coached by Drew Meekins, Natalia Mishkutenok, and Danny O'Shea and trains in Colorado Springs.[2]
Career
Wang began skating at age eight after trying it at a birthday party, as well as later watching an annual ice show at one of his previous figure skating clubs and being mesmerized by it. [3] Alongside pairs, he competes in men's singles, where he participated in the short program at the 2024 U.S. Championships before withdrawing to focus on pairs.
Partnership with Flores
2022-23 Season
Wang partnered with Flores in June of 2022. During their first season together, they won the Cup of Colorado, placed fourth at the USA Midwestern sectionals, and went to the U.S. Figure Skating Championships where they also placed fourth. They won their first international competition, the International Challenge Cup, during their debut season as well.
2023-2024 Season
Flores/Wang competed at the Glacier Falls Summer Classic where they placed second. They made their Junior Grand Prix debut at JGP Austria where they placed second. They also placed second in their second Junior Grand Prix assignment, JGP Turkey, which qualified them for the Junior Grand Prix Final, where they placed fifth.
At their second nationals, they won both the short program and free skating segments and took the top spot by 24.47 points. They were selected for the World Junior team, where they placed second in both the short program and free skating segments, which put them in second place overall behind Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava of Georgia.
