Luma Touch LLC is a privately owned, USA-based developer and publisher of video applications. It offers applications to customers via the App Store.[1]

History[edit]

Luma Touch was co-founded in 2012 by Terri Morgan and Chris Demiris.

Chris leads engineering for the company. He has a long history of developing applications including Hollywood FX, an award-winning line of 3D video motion graphic products in 1993. The application was eventually sold to Pinnacle Systems in 1999.

Terri Morgan leads design for Luma Touch. She’s been a professional editor since 1988. Earlier in her career, she owned an editing company which provided professional video editing services for local businesses and Washington State’s Department of Information Services. Additionally, Terri has worked at leading media post-production companies including Lightworks, Tektronix, Pinnacle Systems, and Avid.

Before starting Luma Touch, Terri and Chris worked together at Avid - one of Hollywood's favorite editing tools[2]. Together, Terri and Chris led the development and release of the highly-successful Pinnacle Studio for iPad (previously Avid Studio). [3]

Luma Touch is currently co-headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and Seattle, Washington.
