Lutjeswaard

Lutjeswaard is a sandbank in the Wadden Sea, north of Den Oever in the municipality of Hollands Kroon. The plate is located 18 kilometers from Den Helder.
On September 25, 1996, the DC-3 PH-DDA crashed on the Lutjeswaard, killing all 32 people on board.
